  1. Hi,

I have received my EAD last month. I also applied for advance parole for travelling outside USA. But I have not received any separate "Advanced Parole Document". But at the bottom of my EAD card it says that "SERVES AS I-512 ADVANCE PAROLE". Could anyone please tell me that is that enough for me to travel outside the country while my AOS is in process? OR should I have any another document to carry during my travel?

    Any idea?

    Thanks.

  2. yes! basically you don't have to do anything else just wait. I don't know for how long. Once you receive the "welcome letter" (which is basically the last approval) they will mail you your gc within days. It's great that now they are sending "interview waive" letters. A year ago when I applied, you had basically need to guess if you were having an interview or not. best of lucks

Thank you....yes...i know...just to wait.....but it is written in the letter that atleast it will take 6 months...cray5ol.gif ....

  3. I see you are adjusting frim a k1 visa. We (k1) have the advantage to have an interview for the GC or not having it and get our gc anyways. Usually, if the NBC decides you need to have one, it takes 4-6 month. But if they decide you can get the gc without interview takes 7 to 12 month to receive the GC through mail. Mine took 9 month and 1 day. Having the interview waive is very common in this days and they usually don't send any kind of notification, just wait and wait. If you dont have a pending rfe or any other notification in a few weeks you are probably having your intervuew waive, which is great but don't expect your gc anytime soon, I wouldn't hope to get it by this year maybe spring 2014

    Hi,

Today I have received Notice of Interview Waiver Case. I understand that now I have to only wait and wait. But how it works? Will they just directly send GC in mail?

    Regards.

  4. Hello,

We had our NOA1 on 16th May. Still we are waiting for NOA2. Last week we have put a service request. Today we have received an email from USCIS saying that it will take more 60 days. That means we can expect it after almost total 9 months after NOA1. Is it normal? Is anyone around there is facing or has faced the situation like us? We are very upset with this process.

    Regards.
