  1. When did your friend get her case number assigned from NVC? When did she send the DS-3032? When did she re-send it? Did she follow the template EXACTLY (with ALL the information listed)? What country is she from? A lot of information would be needed to know why exactly she was rejected... twice. I've never seen that happen before. Once, yes, but not twice.

You're writing in a thread for IR-1/CR-1 applicants. You're in the wrong forum. You need to search for your answer in the appropriate forum, here: http://www.visajourney.com/forums/forum/111-bringing-family-members-of-us-citizens-to-america/

    Alright thank you !

  2. Not enough information. Need to know the birth date of the applicant, the priority date, the date the petition was approved, and the date the priority date became current.

In a nutshell, they calculate the amount of time between the priority date and the date the petition was approved, and they deduct that time from the applicant's age on the day the priority date became current. If the result is under 21 years then the applicant didn't age out. They have one year from the day the priority date became current to "seek to acquire" permanent resident status, which usually means they have to submit the DS-230 to the NVC.

    Hey JimVaPhuong

Our petition was filed on 13th feb, 2001 , so according to that date my brother was 16 and I was 11 , so will they consider us from that date or from current date , waiting for ur reply. Thanks
