We had our AOS interview and the officer told us that we need to submit an I-864 for my daughter (my husband is our petitioner and his mom is the joint sponsor) and we dont know how to fill it out. First we submitted one form from the joint sponsor but my name as the principal inmigrant and we put my daughther as family member, the officer asked me to send another one with my daugthers name but should we send one from my husband also?And how we fill out the form for the joint sponsor?? Im very confused!! Hope someone can help us!! Thanks!!

Are you the petitioner or beneficiary? If your child is a US citizen no you don't . Was your daughter petitioned also?

Im the beneficiary, also my daughter, my husband is the sponsor.

Almost 4 months ago, my daughter and I came to the U.S. on B2 tourist visas so that my daughter could meet my American fiancé's children, but things have been going really well and we'd like to change our plans and get married and stay here instead of going back and doing the K1 process. How would that work? What forms would we need to file and how much would it cost altogether?

I am a Peruvian single mom of a young child, and I am engaged to an American man. We are looking into going with the K1 or CR1. We want to know how long the whole process will take, and whether it takes longer if you have children involved. Also, would we need to file for the child on a separate petition?
