  1. Hi to everyone! I live in Indiana for 1 year. For now, I will start working as part time in the fast food, it's my first job here in the US. I'm Management Accounting graduate in the Philippines. I'm just frustrated this fast few days, :crying: so sad and it's like my confidence and hope is gone because I can't find a job, I keep searching on the site of our City and the County and still no calls and just got email- Thank you for your interest..., my husband found out because I act weird so he said he will talk to his friend and let me in to their store and I got in but only part time because I don't have driver's license yet, I can only get one after 180 days. I'm so happy when the manager hired me, I told to myself this is the start of my real life here in US.

Now, I would like to ask what is the evaluation service for? What is the purpose of evaluating my credentials (transcript of record)? I really need to find a full time job and regular. We are planning to get a house so we need to earn more money. Thank you, guys! :help::)

  2. Well today I checked the USCIS website and when I put in my wife's case number it said document production and that the card should come in the next 30 days. I am glad to see that. I was set up for the text alerts but for some reason did not get one but very happy now and will be looking for my wife's green card.kicking.gif

aaww.. she's lucky! :-) mine still pending and initial review. I called last week, they said, they will check my case status and wait 15 days, if there's no call, mail and email then i will call and follow up again. :( Is your wife had interview? After my biometrics, I didn't get any mail from USCIS.

  3. When you came to the Us with a k1 visa, when you adjust, you get a conditional greencard o conditional residence for 24 month. The goverment wants to know if all those marriages are for the right reason. Then, 90 days before the dead line for the gc, you should submit the I751 to remove those conditions and become a permanent resident. After a year of permanent residence (3rd year of bonafide marriage) you can apply for citizenship, if you want

Thank you for the information. I really appreciate it. Now, I know what to do. :)

  4. Hi... I sent mine April 12th,2012,fortunately my I-765 was aprroved and I received it July 12,2012. I keep checking the status of my I-485 online and still say's Intial Review,i am worried about it coz i thought i will be getting my greencard sooner after i got my EAD.

I don't know how they approved the GC. Others get there GC a month after biometrics or after they got EAD. So for me, not all are the same process. I just wait, but when the month that i expect is over. Hhhmmmm.. That's another story and that's not good. You try to call the hotline. Then let's see what they will gonna tell you.
