Your list looks good, Affidavit from friends and family might help too, though it is not a must, but might help. Also if you are authorized user of credit cards of each other or has credit card bills together, you can add that too. Lease agreement or deeds, mortgage or loan together. You need to wait for your EAD. For your friend, if she came with spousal visa, (I-130 right?) she can work as soon as she receives her green card. Good luck!

We got approved today after 206 days at VSC. We received our NOA1 on July 23 and I just called USCIS this morning and Samantha (The Representative) gave us (My fiance was on the cam listening) the good news.

I'm applying for a I-485 (AOS) for my K1 wife and I am surprise they want an I797 NOA2. When applying for an I-129F they require that I797 NOA2 at interview before they give you a K1 visa. Surely, if my wife came in on K1 and applying for an I-485 they know that it would be impossible to get that K1. So why do they want it again?

I'm upset because I lost a copy of that document and it takes a while to get it. On top of that a copy of the NOA2 is over $400 dollars. That's crazy!!!

sorry to hear that. That is what I have heard too, that I need to keep my NOA2 and just give my fiance a copy because I will be needing it for the adjustment of his status later on. I hope you will still be able to find it...

we just got approved too last JAN.28,2013 and my fiance still did not call NVC for the mnl# been a week already so he can call NVC at least 1week after the approval,coz we wanna start it soon once we get the MNL#..i am wondering how will they send the mnl# or what?still so confused about this stuff...

Tell him to start calling them, I just found out that they mistake when i called them, all the documentations sent to them has my birthdate and my NOA1 also has the right birthdate and I now they messed up. Even if it is their fault, I can't do anything but to wait..

My fiancee is scheduled for her visa interview on Feb 14, 2013. We scheduled the interview through online, did her medical and all that is left is the visa interview. in less than 2 weeks she is going for the interview but until now we havent receive our packet 3 yet, NVC received our case around january 17th , 2013

now my question is: DO WE HAVE TO WAIT FOR PACKET 3 BEFORE GOING TO THE INTERVIEW? OR CAN WE JUST FILL OUT THE DS FORMS AND BRING IT WITH US at the Manila embassy??

I do not think you need to wait for the packet 3....Just bring all the needed requirements....

i give up on waiting for the noa2. its been 6 months and 4 days of waiting. its so frustrating for waiting, like it will not come anymore. we dont know whats going with uscis. its not making since the july filer that behind our filing date is approved already but us did not hear anything... so depressed and frustrated. i think i will not wait for that noa2 anymore.whose july filer there that same noa1 with us...

Almost same date as you are, got Noa2 last july 26, called Uscis, got generic answer from them saying they are processing June 4, but that was as of nov 30 according uscis bulletin, well I am losing hope but what can i do sigh... Don't worry, you are not alone, I am a july filer too, Filed mine last July 20, I will wait till I get my 6 month mark...

You might need to call USCIS ask for a Service Request to follow up on your appplication..

I agree with you. Other Service center are approving September and October 2012, while us in Vermont Service center still in April and May and some of June. I hate to say it but this is just not fair for us to wait that long...anyway just venting....

I was just planning to send a letter stating that my mother has the intent to support him until he is able to support himself. i would just present the I-134 during the interview, and the form I-184 for supplementary documents.

No, you do not need to include the I-134 in your I-129F application. By the way, For the I-129F application, you only need the I-134 and not the I-864, I-864 is for the immigrant application for I-130, fellow VJ's correct me If I am wrong....
