  1. My fiancee did it last month. They open doors at 5:30am Pretty simple. Height blood pressure weight and chest xray. Then you go to a small room And undress and get in a hospital gown and a female doctor comes in and you show her your entire body. They ask about tattoos, piercing, and drug use. Any drug use and you are going to have problems no matter how long ago it was if you admit to it. Then return at 2:00pm for the results that you can not open and take those to the interview. The cost is $211. I had her pay in dollars.

  2. If its a fiance visa then you wont be allowed into the building. You will have to wait outside. The "interview" is just a couple of questions. My fiancee didnt really even realize it was the "interview" because its at a walk up window and they asked 3 questions. First Ask for your paperwork. Who is the petioner? How did you guys meet? How many times has he visited and when was his last visit? Then said congratulations. That was it. They already know if they are giving you the visa before you ecen get there becuase I find it hard to believe they decide on those 3 questions.

  3. I would call the USCIS and see what they say. They may send a RFE for it or hopefully the ajudicator will forward it to the right place. If you look up the Guadalajara Embassy website you will see what types of visas they issuse there. K-1 and I-130 will not be on the list. Its only on the Ciudad Juarez Consulate list. I have no idea why they chose to send all those types of visas to Ciudad Juarez ( one of the most dangerous places in Mexico) but they did that years ago. Guadalajara is mostly for tourist and work visas. I would have lived for them to have processed it there for my fiancee but its just not possible. A tip- once you get an interview in Juarez stay at Microtel or Ibis hotels. They are 3 min walking distance to everything

  4. I can tell u that I heard all these "stories" and they were drilled into my fiancees head while she was over there in Mexico waiting. No one could believe I would risk not hiring a lawyer. They all said I must be crazy. I can tell you that alot of what we hear about the immagration process in Mexico is nonsense when it comes to immigration issuses and about 95% of the time the story originates from something an immigration lawyer told someone. Seriously 90% of the people I talked to over there were convinced you had to try to cross the border at El Paso that same day in order for the visa to be valid. That makes no sense cuz they dont even give it to you that day. But people think this is a fact over there. My own mother filled my head with stories of how so and so's Uncle or cousins neighbor didnt do this or that right and how it was better to let a professional handle it. I didnt pay any attention. Thanks to VJ it was all so simple. she couldnt believe it went so smooth. And they all think I so smart for saving the $2000 an attorney would charge. Now alot of people where she is from are looking up VJ and sending me questions all the time. I never did a waiver myself but I have not read one single thread on VJ where someone followed the directions on any topic and got burned.

  5. As long as you meet the minimum requiremet then it should not be an issuse. Also you mentioned a raise in 6 months. Thats at least how long it will take through this process before you have an interview. So at that point at the interview if you have your raise you can bring in paystubs that show the new income along with a letter from employer that states its a full time and permanent position with new annual income. Also make sure you have your tax transcripts that you can get from the IRS for free for 2012 and 2011.

  7. Hi. Thanks again for the info. My fiancee was approved Thursday as well. I think I even saw your fiance at the Medical on Wednesday when I took my fiancee. I just got an AWB and I found that if you go to DHL website and input the waybill number as the tracking then you get all the detailed info. The best part is that on the DHL website you can have them notify you through email and text when its deliverd, picked up and other options. Hope this helps you. I had to do it because Im checking every half hour just like youand dont want to get in trouble at work hahaha. Good luck and I wish you a great life with your fiance

  8. Hi my fiancee had her interview in Ciuadad Jaurz Mexico and was approved for her visa. Problem is I had picked a DHL place beforegand and she didnt get any tracking info after the interview. Can anyone give me any info on how I might be able to track when the visa arrives at the DHL location I picked when I set up the ASC and Interview.

  9. Ok maybe someone else can back me up on this. As far as what I read about Juarez any documents not in English or the native language of the country you are interviewing should be translated. So since its in Mexico and in Spanish then it would not need to be translated. Otherwise we would all have to have thier birth certificates and police records translated into English for the interview. If anyone disagrees let us know as our interview is next week.

  10. Sorry but no. K-1 is a one time entry visa. No in an out. My fiance thought it was like a tourist visa until I broke the news to her. I myself thought it was possible until I researched it and members here let me know about it. You can apply for AP (advanced parole) but that hapens after you get married within the 90 days and you apply for AP while doing your AOS (adjustment of status) and then even if approved that can take like 4 months. So in a sense no returning to Mexico for about 5-6 months at best. Hopefully Jay-Kay the VJ member here can answer with more details. That is person knows their stuff.

  11. Hi. I think what you want to research is AOS or adjustment of status. I think you applied for a K-1 visa for her didnt you? Im surprised she got the B-2 Visa if you did actually do that because when she applied she would have had to disclose that someone applied for the K-1 for her and they almost always deny a B-2 while the K-1 process is going on. They could see it as fraud if she didnt mention it and she had the K-1 in process when she went to get the B-2.

The B-2 is given to be a tourist and not to come with the intention to marry. If you applied for the K-1 for her I imagine it would be hard to prove that she didnt come here on the B-2 to get married.

It all will depend on if you applied for a K-1 for her.

A B-2 recipient can decide to get martied once here if she had no intention to get married when she applied for it. Then apply to adjust her status. If the USCIS determines she came with intention to marry then its considered fraud.

Im just telling you this so you can research this a lot further and not get slowed down because they suspect fraud. I would probably call a lawyer to see what they say. I mean just there info can help. But be very truthful explaing to them about when you applied and anything that you filled out on K-1 application and what she put on her B-2 application. It all may come down to when each of you applied for the visas.

Just my look at it. Like I said its just some things to consider
