  1. On December 7, 2012, we mailed you a notice that we had registered this customer's new permanent resident status. Please follow any instructions on the notice. Your new permanent resident card should be mailed within 60 days following this registration or after you complete any ADIT processing referred to in the welcome notice, whichever is later. If you move before receiving your card, please call our customer service center at 1-800-375-5283.

During this step the formal decision (approved/denied) is written and the decision notice is mailed and/or emailed to the applicant/petitioner. You can use our current processing time to gauge when you can expect to receive a final decision.

    does it mean?????

  2. Hello, I had my interview done the 18th, I was approved according to the interviewing officer ;however, she found an error on their part. They entered the wrong date of birth October 30th(that's my wife's bday, instead of Oct. 3rd which is mine).

That same day after the interview she told me to get my biometrics taken again, and so I did. My question is, when would I get a notice or something that tells me they are done...was I put in the back of the line again? also my EAD had the wrong date of birth, because it was shipped to me the same day of the interview so obviously they weren't aware of the error. Should I send back my EAD or just wait for my greencard..

    thanks.

  3. Hello everyone, there's many topics on this but here goes. My DOB was wrong it was switch around with my wife's, our interviewing officer caught the error and fixed it after we got approved(the same day of our interview 18th). She gave me a notice to take my biometrics again that same day(pictures and fingerprints) to correct their mistake.

I was wondering if I could use my EAD to apply for a SSN, even though my DOB is wrong??

  4. Sent the package on The 7th of august, they received it the 10th august got the NOA( all 3 of them) 3 days later.

They " September 16, 2012, we mailed you an appointment notice for an interview for October 18, 2012, at NATIONAL BENEFITS Center" not quiet since I'm in Raleigh so that is my local office. I still haven't gotten my EAD, I'm hoping this a good sign, I didn't expect for the interview to happen this fast.

    Cheers and good luck!

Ps excuse my typos I'm using my phone....

  5. Hey everyone! I would just like to say thank you for all the good info posted in here, it has helped me a lot. I sent AOS package on 8/7/2012, and yesterday 8/20/2012 I received

"ASC Appointment notice". the notice date is 8/15/2012, the case type is i-485 and i-765, with code: 3, and my appointment is on 9/5/2012.

after I go in the 5th, do I have to go back again? I assume I don't..since it says that case type i485 and i765 were scheduled.

  6. Hello everyone! awesome thread, I've been looking through visajourney for the past month. I just got my ASC Appointment Notice today(8/20/2012). the notice date is 8/15/2012, and they schedule my

appointment on 9/05/2012. I live in Raleigh NC, the office is located in Durham(about 22min drive with traffic according to google maps I hope!). I was wondering how early should I show up..my

schedule is extremely tight, and I don't drive(my wife is taking me), so she's planning on taking the day off work that day. the only other day that we can go during the week is monday.

    thanks

I would like to add that the appointment is for case type I-485 and I-765 code: 3
