I got my 2 years green card in 2012 based on marriage, I removed the condition in 2014 and received my 10 years in the same 2014, I filed for citizenship in 2015, here is my story, I filed N-400, I went for my naturalization interview in October 2015 and I didn't know that my wife paid for an apartment somewhere else, on my interview the officer asked me about this strange address and I told him that I didn't know about the address, he told me that the public record is showing that my wife was evicted from that address, I replied to him , well I didn't know about it, the officer mentioned again that my wife record is showing that there was a small claim court with her name in another address, I asked him which address is that, when he mentioned, it was her mother's address, I told the officer that this second address is her mother's house that my wife and the siblings have been using this address since before we got married because we are missing letters in our own apartment, I told the officer that I live with my wife but I don't know about the first address, the officer said we should continue our English test, after the test and I passed the whole test, the officer gave me a white sheet for passing the test and said that decision can't be made at that moment, I went home, when I came home, I told my wife how I went for the interview, I asked her about the address, she told me that she rented the address because we used to have argument, so she rented it as a place she always go to relax when we get in to it, but she didn't let me know about that address, the next day, I received an email denial notification, we concluded to file appeal, request for hearing on a decision (N-336) in December 2015, she wrote a letter and was notarized stating that I didn't know about the address and explained why she rented the apartment because of our disagreement and said that we are living together and is our marriage, her mother wrote a letter and was notarized too stating that the second address mentioned is her address and her daughter is only using there to receive mail, her sister wrote a letter and was notarized too stating that she sister to my wife and she has known us since we became married, she also said we used to have disagreement but we live together and is our marriage, 3 of my friends wrote letters too and was notarized explaining how they knew me and my wife,in December I mailed out the N-336 with all this letters from my friends, in-laws, my wife and other supporting document, in January 2016, I had disagreement with my wife and she moved out of the house again, in February 2016 I got a legal document from the sheriff that she filed for divorce, our first divorce court date will be by the ending of March 2016

MY QUESTION IS NOW, APPEAL (N-336) is still pending and my wife threatened that she will call the immigration and tell them that we are not staying together, should I write a letter to my local immigration office and withdraw this appeal or should I write a letter to them updating them that we had disagreement and my wife moved out of the house then filed for divorce...

Any quick answer will be appreciated, Thanks in advance

THERE IS NOTHING COMPLICATED about your case, get a divorce and move on. File for removal of condition after attaining your divorce. There maybe issues since you'll never con-mingle funds but document the behavior of the spouse.

I have some bill in our both name like we energy,dish Tv and copy of our lease with our marriage photos and family pictures..we don't have bank account together becos when we went to open account together the bank said she can't open account but I can open due to she was owing alot of banks, we can get a joint credit card becos her credit record is messed up and no joint insurance becos her insurance was from state ( Free insurance) so I don't need her insurance before of our interview due to immigration would ve see me as a public charge and result in denying my interview/case...Mind you she was collecting loans from here and there to by weed...Thank you for reading my post

she is a drug addicted, my wife uses all the money I manage to raise from people for our rent and bills for drugs, one day I went to my friend

house to visit him while before I left I told my usc spouse that I want to go visit my friend, My wife guessed the time she think I may stay in

my friend's house and she text me on the phone and told me to borrow morning 2000 dollars from that my friend and I text her back why, she replied

me that what do I mean by why, I replied her back that what do she mean by 2000 dollars, she text me that I should come carry my property out of the

Go to www.uscis.gov, print form I130 for Alien relative, form I485 for adjustment of status, Form G325a for biometric and is for both of you so print two of it, form I131 for advance parole , form I765 for employment, Form I693 for medical test, form I864 for sponsorship, fees: $1090 for adjustment of status and $420 for Alien relative that is total of $1510..go to post office and get money order of $1510, address it to DEPARTMENT OF HOMELAND SECURITY, add your wife name in your lease, get the new lease From your landlord bearing both spouse name as the occupants and make a copy, certified copy of your last year tax transcript, copy of your last two months pay stub, make a copy of her birth certificate and your own too, if you acquired ur citizenship thru marriage or whatever then make a copy of your certificate of naturalization unless you were born in U.S then only your birth certificate covers, copy of her I-94, copy of her visa page, copy of her passport page..please do not send original documents, go to post office and send it with express or priority mail to uscis lockup office depending your location

I-94 doesn't matter anything what the know is to show id, your Passport should be fine unless expired too...I was using my Passport to fly within the state while my I-94 has expired long time ago

@lovebirds85, I think the insurance you are talking about from ur husband is his job insurance but the one I am talking about is public insurance from the state..more ideas please

Babe, please tell your friend to go to the post office and open po box $35 for 6months, she can still pay for 1yr or more if she has the money, then let her call uscis and change her mailing address to po box, she is entitle to have two addresses, residential and mailing address..I am using my po box to receive any of my mail..just work in the post office at your convenient time with your key, open the box and pick your mail...next time you might have that kind of conversation just use your phone to record the threatening as much as well video it too..it will help as evidence..if she think that she can't settle with the guy again just go with infopass appointment ..I feel her situation...goodluck baby

Which is cheaper, changing the air travel date or filing for a spousal visa? Let's say you send her her GC to Korea and it gets lost or delayed and she has to enter the US before receiving the GC. How is she going to do that? Now she is outside the US with no document that allows her to re-enter. I suppose you could file for a replacement GC and wait for it to arrive and then hand deliver it to her since sending it to her caused problems the first time. $250 to reschedule the travel date is cheaper than the $450 for a replacement GC. If all that does not work out than you are stuck filing for a spousal visa and waiting with your wife in Korea.

I would make certain you either have the GC in hand or get an I-551 stamp in the passport BEFORE leaving the US. It took 2 days to receive the GC after approval for us. Our interview was on Thursday and the GC arrived on Saturday. Since they use Priority Mail, the GC may make it by the 4th, but I would bet on the 5th or 6th. I would still change my departure date if possible. Life is full of choices: choose wisely as this will have consquences that may last for a long time.

When USCIS mail you AOS appointment letter for interview, whose name will be written at mailing envelope, is it Both couple's name

or the applicant's name alone? I mean at the back of mailing envelope not inside the letter...Answer needed as soon as possible..Thanks guys

Good morning my vj friends, how are you all, please I want to get this information from anyone who could help me...I filed my AOS about three months ago and I am living with my wife at the ghetto side of the town, we lived in an apartment and I ve so bad neighbors, my neighbors used to pick some of my mail from my apt mail box and sometimes my mail will be open already, Now I don't want to change my address but just giving people my p.o box as my mailing address, How will I tell immigration my problem and give them my p.o box as my mailing address, how possible it is?
