It is approved today. It was very easy and relaxing interview. Online status changed to Card/Doc Production but no text message yet. Good luck for the rest of u.

I'm 99% sure that whatever the FBI does takes less than 5 minutes. It's all in huge computer databases
and I don't see how it would take longer.
I sent my application in late April, did my biometrics 3 days after I got the notice in early May, well ahead of time, and jus got my interview
notice a few days ago. From my experience, it makes no difference.
Shooli, Are you going to LA downtown office?

FINALLY got an Interview notice - September 12th.
About damn time!
finally, congrat. Shooli, which office are you going? Mine is at chatsworth.

Just received ordered production of Green Card notice
Congrat. I hope I don't have any surprise or problem on interview.
We have been married since april 2010. Really hope relax and easy intv.

Did you receive emails/texts regarding other updates on your case?
Yes i received text and email for acceptance in April and biometric in may. Nothing after those.

I'm assuming I'll get a text message and/or an email when they update my case, I'm tired of checking their website
I have not received email or text message. It is on case status online. You might as well check it online.

Finally interview is scheduled on Sep 10. It is a long wait. I am nervous now for interview. Did you check your status shooli

It's not only Israel, but several middle-eastern countries that can be subject to additional checks.
I don't think it includes south east asia countries. We have no issues.

Did you at least get your EAD??
Can't believe more LA filers are still waiting.
They are seriously pissing me off.
I did not apply EAD, Just I-485 and I-130. I am from Asia and thus the additional name check for Israel is not applicable to me.

Absolutely nothing.
Nothing for me too. It is really bad to be in LA. Should we all contact congressman office too?
I am very frustrated. I called USCIS and they have same status as the online one for both I-130 and I-485. It is still at MSC.

I'm on the phone with them right now, asked about my fingerprints, agent said he can't answer that but he'll escalate it to the next level.
I'll hold for a few minutes, but not more...
Are you still holding? It must have very long hold

Did you talk to someone, or just use the automated voice service?
Also, the automated voice service said my I-485 application is being processed
by the Missouri service center. Anyone know anything about that?
I also called and got the same automated reply. It is at Missouri S Center. How did "Mrsaveemac" get around the automated system?

I don't think you need to discuss or provide any evidence or information regarding legal status until after you get an offer. Employer can ask you whether you need sponsorship during interview but all detail should not be discussed unless they give you an official offer letter. They have no business knowing your legal status unless they decided to hire you.
