UPDATE Everyone thank you SO so much, you guys are so kind. I REALLY hope everyones visa process and AP to go fast, i think my wife contacting her congressman did the trick ( MAYBE IM NOT TOO SURE ) but i was already settled, interview was quick and smooth approximitely 4 min didn't gave me anything but my passport and my original marriage cert + ''(X-rays) idk why'' i thought they would keep the whole medical exam. The Co told me we need time for AP and we are gonna call you to come and pick up your visa.

My wife recieved an E-mail last moday from the congressmans office saying that my case in on the last step OF AP

Im sorry buddy my wife did the payment back in the US at her attorneys office, i still have a reciept that's about it. i don't know nothing about rejecting payment status. Im sorry again i hope you get answers ASAP.

I don't know about being specified that much the last 40 days all it said is Administrative Processing when i type my case number but when i got the call todays morning i checked it out and it said issued

i also got a call yesterday to go and drop off my passport and they said they will contact me. So today i got an other call to go ahead and pick it up monday.

If your visa is approved you pick it up in 48 hours .

if your visa is approved during interview BUT they said we need more time for AP that's when you have to wait and the timeline is unknown because the AP has several stages.

40 days as i said is just an exception there's no timeline for AP, some cases takes a couple of weeks, one took 62 days and seen one that still on AP since July..so don't take my word for it every case is different buddy

No it does not take that long for a visa to be issued only 48 hours but they let you know at the end of the interview to come and pick it up once they keep your passport .

But in my case, AP : ADMINISTRATIVE PROCESSING is just an exception, not everybody get it, the Co told me we need some time for AP and we'll call you to come and pick up your VISA.

All she gave me is my original marriage certificate and my passport, no other documents or 221G.

Just wanna add that a congressman made an inquiry on behalf of my wife and he e-mailed us last week and said that my AP is on the last stage. Im not too sure but i think he speed up the process a lil bit .

The inquiry was a package of documents ( copies and proofs of relationship ...whatever you get your hands on would be good ) we've sent from Morocco to the congressmans office and he forwarded it to the Embassy in Rabat, From rabat to Casablanca, back to the congressmans office.

Im not a very active member here but i had a few questions in the past and people were really helpfull. Just wanna say Thank you and After 40 days on AP my Visa Got APPROVED.i'll go pick it up monday inshallah.

I had to wait almost 40 days to hear from them but hamdollah yesterday night at 9pm we got an E MAIL from the NVC saying that i was Scheduled an interview for APRIL 2nd and my PD (priority Date) is ( January 2012 ) that's why i was one of the first ones to get an interview and that early too.. pay attention to your E mail, people got there interviews within' 2 days after their case was completed. but that's might not be your case maybe they just got lucky or something Lol Anyways Lah ysem3ek khir and if there's anything you need do not hesitate..BEST OF LUCK DEAR

(Kazulie) what you've said is right because me and my wife were the first ones to get an E MAIL from the NVC at 9PM Moroccan time. She was all upset because our journey took a little longer than she expected and the funny part is me asking about prioriy date and i just looked away from the computer and my wife had tears on her eyes and she was like ''''we should call my family and let them know''' im like ''let them know wut ??''' then she said next month yow #### is gonna be interviewed APRIL 2nd LOl'' Hahaha

But the whole thing is really confusing they sent me an E-mail 4 weeks ago saying my case was completed FEB 6th, but when i check online it says (PROCESSING AT NVC).to be honest i don't ask the usuall questions anymore lol which are ( WHEN / HOW LONG/ why...) im just leaving it the way it is untill they decide to do something about it. I don't know about K1 visa but it takes 3 to 4 weeks ACCORDING TO THEM but some people get an E-MAIL within' 10 days some don't like myself, i've been waiting since FEB 6th among a lot of people here all i can tell you is sit back , relax and WAIT. check out that link Below thse infos might be a lil helpfull.

other than that Calling NVC or U.S consulate in CASA is just a waist of time. They won't tell you anything about your appoinment because it's not ready yet and also a lot of people are ahead i guess.. it seems like casablanca is fully booked.

It does take sometime for some People but evantually she'll hear from them soon or later ..but i guess the post she's been referring to is from the MOroccan forum it seemed like someone got approved today in the US consulate CASABLANCA and it took them only 20 days to get an interview date from the time their case got complited.

All i can tell you A.J it depends from one case to an other ,,hang in there and hope you hear somethig soon.

SO after 13 months of ups and downs and 5 months just waiting on a sponsor my CR1 case is complited that's what my wife said this morning when she jumped on our bed and wake me up. just waiting on an interview date and according to the NVC lady we're looking at APRIL which is good plenty of time to do a Medical and prepare for the interview. THANKS everyone for the support and the help especially during the bumpy ride with NVC..
