We got the same message, it came to his house on Monday. You can call the department of state in the US and they will tell you if the visa has been printed. 202-663-1225. It took 6 days for our Visa to arrive in Cumbria. The Courier web site posted and estimated arrival on Thurday night of Monday. Hope this helps....you might be pushing it with a Saturday flight!
I attended my interview on the 9th (Friday), I was originally expecting to receive it by the following Friday (5 business days). Now I'm a little worried. The embassy may have been closed on Monday for Veterans day? Adding a day to the delivery?
When I track it on DX secure I get "Sorry, this combination of tracking number and postcode do not correspond with our records. Please check and try again." so presumably it hasn't been issued yet. I have a flight booked for Sat 17th some time ago, am I likely to make it or should I change now?

My Fiance's interview was last Friday, Nov. 2nd. I called the DOS today and they said his Visa was issued on Wednesday. But, DX tracking has no record of his tracking number. Did anyone else use their tracking system, if so, was it reliable? I am a little concerned that since my fiance lives in Cumbria, his visa delivery will be delayed. Anyone from northern England have any insight?
Yeah mine took 5 Business days

I called the DOS yesterday and they were very friendly and informative. They were able to tell me that the medical had been received, but our packet 3 was still probably not posted because of a possible back log? Medical was submitted to embassy on 9/11 and packet 3 was signed for on 8/27. The number to DOS is 1-202-663-1225. Good luck!
Thanks for all the feedback guys it is much appreciated
I have been calling NVC trying to get update son the interview, should I be calling DOS

Thanks for the info. Good luck on your medical!
The Embassy will schedule your interview for you. You will get the appointment in the mail. My medical is tomorrow so i might have some tips then! Check out the medical thread at the top of this page. It is really helpful. The later pages are better since things have changed a bit since the beginning.
Thank you!

I have read different things coming from different countries, so I wanted to ask someone coming from the UK. My fiance's medical is scheduled for Sept. 4th. Should we schedule (or can we) his interview yet. Or is that done by the embassy after his medical is received by them? Also, any tips on the medical? Thank you!

You bring those documents to the interview. You mail back the forms to them that they requested in the packet.

We have our K1 visa in hand, issued in May, expires in November. He hasn't entered the states yet.
The lady who interviewed us from the US Embassy Belize called today to ask when our wedding date is going to be (left a message with his mother). Why would she do this? It strikes me as very strange. In our original interview we told her some time in September.
I know it's hard not to worry. She probably just messed up with documenting the date when you told her and wants to know so she can complete her notes.

I mailed our AOS yesterday, as well. Good Luck to you both!
