As far as i know the processing period is 5 to 6 months. There are some out there waiting 7 or 8 months to get thier NOA2. I know this is the hard thing but this is the way they do it. Just relax and keep busy while waiting. Not one not two or three experiencing this so better to focused on other things for now. Good luck!

really? but after the issuance of your 221g, did they returned passport?yes that was her waiver...221g of not meting in person for the past 2yers prior they filed...so what if her F will be here, then can they re-schedule her interview?

They kept my passport after they issued me a 221g form. I dont have so much knowledge about re-apply again. Did they keep her passport or not? If yes, the embassy will ask more evidence but if not they should meet in person and apply again. My knowledge is very limited about her problem.

I got a 221g form and they did not asked more documents and i have a visa after 7 days of my interview. Its very confusing why they refused the petition? Is it all about not meeting in person in 2 years prior to the requirements?If yes,she will in big trouble! They should meet in person again and provide an evidence of meeting and apply again! Maybe this is the best way they can do.

Did the embassy gave her a 221g form? I never read here that they deny a k1 visa instead asking more papers. Did they gave back the passport to her? I felt sorry for her.

Wow cant believe this. I had my interview last september 11 and i have my visa already. I was worried before also because they gave me a 221g form but they dont asked additional documents. They were also told me to wait my visa and luckily i got it. Hope you will get a good news from them. YOur situation is sucks but keep calling the embassy if whats going on. God bless

Well based on my experienced my fiance wasnt here on my interview but i still approved. What really matters to them is bring all the required documents and most important that you know all the information about your fiance. Question wasnt so hard for me, just stay calm and answer all the questions with all the truth. God Bless

Sweetrose, Just for additional confirmation,,, my wife traveled from Manila to Singapore where i was working for a couple of weeks. Then we left straight from Singapore to USA. My Fiance (now wife) and K2 son did not have any problems at POE(Houston).

One more thing in the packet i received was just a letter of instruction on how to set an appointment. There was no case number written there.

So we went to the St. Lukes Clinic. (we do have the MNL case# courtesy of NVC)but they require the original letter containing the MNL case#. When will my fiancee receive the letter/packet from US Embassy?

As i far as i know, i never had an original copy of manila case number letter on my medical exam. Im sure you got a mail from them containing case number right? My fiance sent a scan copy to my email and i printed it. Just bring the printed copy and you will be fine!

If i were you do the medical ahead of time like two weeks before the interview. Just in case you have problems in your medical exam. Its better to be prepared. Well, when i had my medical I dont have companion. For the interview, no one is allowed to enter except the applicants. Good luck to us

You don't need a baptismal certificate for the K-1 interview. It wouldn't hurt to bring it, but I doubt they will ask for it given it is not in the requirements listed. What is the problem with your birth certificate being late registered? Does NSO have a copy from the LCR? The CO wants an NSO copy of the birth certificate. I am not sure there is a way around this.

No need to worry about the evaluation. Call them in 2 or 3 days. anyways after you get the result, you will have your vaccines and everything. I think half a day you will be done. Dont stress yourself so much everything will be okay . God bless
