when did you send your AOS(i485) package?

I sent them on 07/09/2012 ( showed on my timeline)

Hi everyone, just got a status update for my I-485 from AcCeptance to Request for Evidence.

I havent filed the I-864 so I think they are gonna send me a amil to request this form. Because we are waiting on the tax return so we didnt attach it yet.

Anyone have the same page as mine?

Congrats ! So you walked-in to a location that closer to you (but was assigned a very far away one on the biometrics letter)? Did they ever tell you why??

I calledUSCIS yesterday to ask about thiss issue.the thing was my zip code is 29301 but in the letter i recieved was printed 20301 thats why they send my to the one in VA (8hrs away from my house) instead of the one near my house ( which is 20 mins away). They told me i can come to the local office in the same date appear on the letter to get it done. But i made an Info Pass apoinment to ask about this issue a couple days ago, thats why i came there and told them again. The gentleman was super nice he said he will let me get it done right away and he was sorry about the mistake. That was lucky because i heard somebody said sometime they met unfriendly person. Anyway, if you guys had recieved biometric letter, i would recommend to take a chance to do a walk-in. This is the only thing that we can control to make the process faster (i hope!)

Completed biometrics walk-in today. Im glad that i dont have to drive all the way to VA to get it done. Hope you all successfully walk in biometric.

I just got biometric appointment letter today. But i got a problem. I live in Spartanburg, South Carolina but my appointment for biometric is all the way in USCIS ALEXANDRIA, VA. It's almost 8 hours away from where I live. Does anybody get this issue. Honestly, i cannot drive all the way there just to get fingerprint ( about an hour) then drive back to my house. This is odd. There is an USCIS in my area (20 minutes away) but why dont they let me go there???

Im so upset righnow. Any help??? I would appreciate. Thnks

7/18 - Got confirmation from UPS that package was received in Chicago today - signed for by CHYBA

7/20 - Text and Email Notification from USCIS

7/21 - Checks Cashed

This is going to be dumb question....but how do you guys add the timeline below your reply? I tried using the Timeline feature but looks it's not the same....thanks

"for those of you who are registerd on here and have not filled out your timeline so far, go to settings on the top right hand corner of the page, click on profile, then select change signature, that way you can record your progress for others to see your timing

7/09/12 NOA email notification

7/14/12 Received hard copy of NOA in the mail

7/16/12 Received biometric appointment letter for 8/1/2012"

I filed the package on Monday, July 9th.

It was delivery on Tuesday,July 10th. I havent heard anything yet. Its just 4 days but it seems 4 years for me aldready...
