My fiance was approved. We even have a big age difference. The interview was pretty simple. Of course he has to do AP. I am pretty paranoid so until the AP is done I will not relax. I will day we had an attorney and all of out paper work was done correctly. Mazi is supper organized, they even commented on it. Having all your ducks in a row is important.

Well my fiance is interviewing right now so I will let you know. I am a wreck! Plus we are not a usual couple. I am much older then him so I am very worried. All I can say is we could not be more prepared. Our interview was changed though. It was Jan 16 and with one, week notice they changed it to Oct. 18 I was going to Turkey to be with him. Now I lost a $1200 ticket.

Craziest thing happened. Our interview was for January 16,2013. I have bought tickets, booked rooms etc. Mazi had bought his tickets also. On Thursday I got a one sentence e-mail stating that the interview has been changed to Oct.18 th, one week!! Do they do this on purpose?? People have jobs and kids and lives. Hi,the craziest thing happened. We had an interview for Jan in Ankara. I was going and have already bought tickets. I got a one sentence e-mail saying the changed it to Oct 18. One week!! Really. I would be happy but I am out $2500. Non refundable air fare. Plus do you not think this is wierd? Mazi too had bought tickets. We will see.

I think for a K1 it is usually Ankara. Once you get your number start checking the web site for your interview. About a week after they received the papers Mazi sent from Iran I went to the web site just to see how it works and was shocked to see we had an interview date. It is Jan 16. I am planning on meeting him in Turkey. Not the best time of year to go but it has been over a year.

Thanks for the message.We will probably have some problems. Our attorney says no, but I am preparing for a problem. I have know Mazi since 2008 and can prove it. We have an interview in Turkey in Jan and I plan on going there even though I can not even go to the embassy. I think it is important that I am there.

I know this is non of my business but I was wondering how old your fiancee is? As I am the petitioner, a women, and much older then my fiance. This worries me. I think for men it is not a problem. So I was just curious if there was a double standard. We are getting ready for the interview process so I am getting sressed out. Thanks and hope you are not offended

Hi, I am new here and there are not too many women with Iranian men. We got the NOA2 after 4 months which I was very happy about. I see your interview was in the UAE. I was thinking ours would be in Turkey. What determins where the interview will be? I am hoping for Turkey because I would like to be there even though I can not go to the interview. What if anything do you know about this?

Today was a great day!! I just received our NOA for our I-129F after only 4 mo. After hearing others stories I was not ever going to start worrying until the end of August. I know this is just step number one but without step number one you can not go forward.
