  1. As I and others stated in your other post, follow what it shows on the example form here: http://www.visajourney.com/examples/Form-I-134.pdf

Do not check either box and put this on the line: "N/A (K-1 VISA PROCESS FOR PERMANENT RESIDENCE)"

You could also check 'intend' and put: "K-1 VISA PROCESS FOR PERMANENT RESIDENCE"

When I open the llink that the visa journey provides, I only see the unfilled form

Anyway , I checked the intend to box and then wrote n/a k1 visa process for permanent residence ! I hope it's ok like that!

  2. This is what we wrote in item no. 11

we check the option of DO NOT INTEND TO MAKE SPECIFIC CONTRIBUTIONS TO THE SUPPORT OF THE PERSON....

and below in explanation we wrote - N/A (K-1 VISA PROCESS FOR PERMANENT RESIDENCY)

since ur fiance is going to come and stay with u ..there is no need to mention the 'I INTEND TO' list

    Isn't that a contradiction ? I. Sorry to ask !

But if we are filling this form, and then we say 'I don't intend to make specific contributions", wont that be a conflicted answer?

  3. Please help ! Me and my fiancée are trying to fill form I 134 and we have no idea what to write in item # 11!

    Here's what it says:

    I intend to

(If you check intend , indicate the exact nature and duration of the contributions. For example,if you intend to furnish room and board, state for how long and, if money, state the amount in US dollars and whether it is to be given in a lump sum, weekly or monthly and for how long?)

What did you guys write there ??

    Thanks !

    :help: :help: :help:

  4. Petitioner gets the NOA2. Packet 3 is from the interviewing consulate/embassy to the beneficiary.

Refer to the K-1 Flowchart for details.

I still didn't change my address because we are waiting for noa2 hard copy , should I change it now? We got our noa2 November 27th by text and email.Still no hard copy! Do they only send the packet 3 after we get noa2 in the mail? I'm so confused!

    Thank you for helping !

  5. There are a lot of factors that can determine how long, and its a case by case basis, partly to do with how organised you are to send your packet 3 info into your consulate, how quickly your local consulate schedules appointments, when you can get your medical done, police checks done etc. There are other unknowns aswell to consider, You could receive an RFE, or you could be delayed at the consulate aswell.

It is advisable to request caterers/venue etc to be flexible with your dates in case you need to move it, find out at least when they need final details and what penalties would apply should you need to move the date.

I was just having a look for one of the May filers who's fiance is from Portugal, his petition is being redirected to the consulate in Paris (common for Portugal apparently), it appears that Paris is scheduling around 3-4 weeks from receipt of packet 3 (based on the 2 most recent interview dates on VJ)

Best of luck, from receiving NOA2, 4 months could be plenty of time once NOA2 is received, if you have everything go well. :)

Hey! Got NOA2 today ! Say what?? Paris? Can you tell me who is this person so I can talk to him/her? I had no idea that the process is sent to Paris! Do I have to go there? Thank you!
