  1. Yaseen is nearly 6 months old. We waited and waited and Sayed went to his interview and got pushed off to AP. That's when I got pushy back! I took it to congress and our AP got approved in less than one month! We are waiting for the website status to change but the congress rep forwarded me the consular e-mail telling her that my husband's case was approved! His visa will be arriving shortly! This has been a 9 month battle. And my son has spent his entire life up to no...

  2. Our son was born September 11th and my husband could only be there through broken up phone calls. He heard me as I pushed out our little one into the world. And it is very hard to be without him now. I hope we can be together so soon. All we can do is Skype and send pictures and videos. I just paid the Affidavit fee. Waiting for the next step. God be with us..

I didn't realize this thing would cut me off... anyway we are just waiting for that status to change and then he should be receiving the visa package within a few days after that.

My recommendation, if you are waiting for a case through AP, take your case to your local congress, or senate or any other representatives. They will put that stamp of "congressional interest" on the case and before you know it, the Embassy will push it through to avoid any further interest in their business..

  3. Hello fellow Visa Journey members. We filed our I-130 on June 26th, and are expecting our son in September. Now all we can do is pray the expedite criteria will be enough to get my husband here asap.
