Fiance picked up package today with passport with visa and sealed envelope with documents for his arrival. Plan is to have him travel mid-April after he takes care of financial matters.

The last batch of proof we sent must have done it. His visa was issued last Friday, now just waiting for when he can pick up from the post office.

Thank you. Now playing the second waiting game of when it will actually be sent to the PTT for him to pick up. So difficult to plan anything!

What affidavits did you get? Letters from family members and friends?

Questions were about my family, where I live, where he would live, etc. He was able to answer all of them but I think the interviewer being a Turk woman still wouldn't believe and quickly gave him temporarily refusal.

Sorry, I didn't know how to get messages. I hope you interview went well. My fiance got an 221g for more Proof of Relationship. We sent by PTT but was not accepted by the embassy. Trying to find out why. He wasn't marked for AP but when I check status it says AP Just not sure when to send the extra proof. Calling embassy tomorrow..

Thanks! I'm a little worried now. I haven't received any notification from NVC on receiving packet or sending packet to Embassy. I sent an email to NVC to check on status.
