it was march 07, 2013. said that mail man picked up the new card and it was delivered on the 8th. pretty quick !

Hello everybody I just wanted to let you know I got my green card 10yr. as of march 08,2013

Seven months of checking USCIS website for updates and nothing. Then today I decided to call them and inquire about the status of our case. After about 20 minutes the cunstomer service rep I was more frustrated than before I called. Then a couple of hours later I get an email elert saying my case status has changed and to log into USCIS to check the status. Low and behold APPROVED !!! Card production has been ordered. My lao po will be thrilled that she will recieve her 10 yr card soon. Now on to Citizenship. Good luck to everyone who is still waiting. Just hang in there, the day will come when your posting your approval.

what number did you call?

California Service Center . I see some people have been approved earlier than others. !! is there a reason for that ?

2 years? 5? 10?

how long do they usually take to create the case number in the database so it can be checked online?

Mailed ROC packet to Vermont today! Here's what I included:

-Form I-751

-Copy of green card

-Apartment lease contracts for 2 years

-Bank statement showing date joint accounts opened with both names

-Copies of 2 credit cards, both our names, same account

-Copies of Drivers' licenses, showing same address

-Joint Fed & State tax returns for 2 years

-Life insurance policies showing the other as beneficiary

-Renters' insurance in both names for 2 years

-Auto insurance w/ both names and showing change of status/name when we got married

-Ticket & photos of trip back home

-2 affidavits from friends, notarized

-Check for $590

hello everybody ! my name is francisco I sent my papers to remove my condition to CSC 2 days ago(07/09/2012). said it will arrive next day. card expires 09/01/2012. I joined the forum so I could compare with others how long it takes. a lot of good people here. thank you. I see a lot of activity as well which is good.!
