  1. I wonder what is exact list of documents required for K2 adjustment of status, I figure it is the same list as for K1 but what about K1 marriage, do we need to include marriage certificate?

here is a list I have so far:

    - Payment in the amount of $1070

    - I-485 Application

    - G-325A and two passport style photos

    - Copy of Passport (biographical page, entry stamps and visa page)

    - Copy of I-797 K1 visa approval notice

    - I-94 Admission Record

    - Copy of Birth Certificate (original and English translation)

    - Copy of DS-3025 Vaccination Documentation Worksheet

    - I-864 Affidavit of Support with supporting documents:

    - Copy of IRS tax return for 2013

  2. immigrant must notify USCIS about their address changes and now the USC spouse after submitting affidavit of support also must notify USCIS about moving, it is important to notify them when you have open case, however since you already have a GC your current case is closed and they are not going to contact you anytime soon, so should you notify them about moving? it is really up to you at this moment but you will have to do that before starting a new process with them anyway :)

  3. If the K-2 is the one listed in # 3. This affidavit is executed on behalf of the following person:, then the part that states> Name of spouse and children accompanying or following to join person: is asking about a spouse or children of the person in #3, so your wife would not be listed there. That would be None.

Seems your wife would be listed in #8, 9 and 10. You are calling her your wife, so that means you married already and her relationship to you is spouse.

Wasn't the K-2 child listed there on the I-134 that was done for your wife's K-1? You could provide a copy of it as well.

Thanks for reply, yes K2 child was listed as follow to joint on previous K1 affidavit, I heard somewhere that if child was listed on k1 affidavit they shouldn't even ask for it again but it is one of the document they ask on the list so maybe they will ask for it maybe not, but want to be prepared, so I guess for #10 I should write current relationship rather then what it was when that k1 visa was submitted

  4. I'm filling affidavit of support for my wife's daughter right now and was wondering if anyone who filled i134 for K2 children can help me with couple questions

it seems pretty straight forward but in section 3 "name of spouse and children accompanying or following to join person" should I list my wife in there? she will fly there to finish all the paperwork and bring a child to interview and then will fly with her back here.

also in section 10, I will list my wife but should I write spouse in "relationship" section or fiance, because when I submitted my petition she was fiance at that time?

  5. So we finally got our interview date, they send us a notice with a list of items to bring and here a couple questions about it:

a complete medical form I-693 and vaccination supplement in sealed envelope (unless already submitted), well my wife done her medical during K1 visa process and gave it at POE when she arrived here so since it was done within a year of I-485 petition we didn't do any new medical but we did send a copy of her DS-3025 vaccination worksheet with i485 petition, we've got no RFE and even this interview is within a year from the time she's done it so does it considered already submitted or they want us to do a new one? I would assume they have it and this is just a standard letter but just wanna to double check

affidavit of support I-864 with all evidence (unless already submitted), again we did submit it with petition but since it is already a new tax year would they want a new one or not?

original and copy of each supporting documents submitted with your application, this is confusing since they already ask for birth certificates and marriage license as separate items to bring so what other documents they might want, do we need to bring anything from f-129 fiance petition or at this point they interested only in what happens in US or it is just a generic text?

also they say that if you do not speak english fluently you should bring interpreter, well my wife's english is not that good and I can interpret for her would it be ok?

  6. A gun in the home increases the risk of a violent death in the home.

Meaning guns won't keep you safe either. They'll actually do just the opposite.

I like it, no really, the header of the study makes you believe that just by having a gun at home you increase your risk of being killed which is complete bogus, the study can be rewritten into saying that having a tv in home or having ford mustang in home increases the risk of violent death, they just summarized some amount of deaths and checked if those people had a gun at home, considering that over 40% of population have guns the likelihood of having gun is pretty high, then more:

"Homicide victims were mostly male, less than 35 years of age, and of racial or ethnic minority status"

"A firearm was used in 68 percent of both homicides and suicides"

"A larger proportion of homicide decedents than suicide decedents and those who died of other causes were drinking alcohol within 4 hours of death and used illicit drugs in the past year"

"Nearly one third (31.7 percent) of the homicides occurred during a family argument, 15.4 percent during a robbery, 4.1 percent during a drug deal, 0.2 percent during an abduction, and 44.1 percent for other unspecified reasons. In 4.5 percent of the homicides, multiple circumstances were reported"

"Our findings also suggest that the presence of a gun in the home increases the chance that a homicide or suicide in the home will be committed with a firearm rather than by using other means"

soooo... if you wanna kill someone and you have a gun at home you gonna use it instead of other tool, which is obvious, also don't do drug deals at your home, you know it is illegal, and you can get shot if someone rob you, which is again obvious

in general guns are dangerous and you have to have respect for them, once you loose that respect you will get an accident, but if you are not a gang member or live in a high crime area, not a drug user or alcohol abuser having a gun at home will have no impact on you, in fact it can save your life one day when one of those gang members decided to rob your house or rape your wife, but of cause it is a free country and you can choose not to have it and just dial 911 and just sit and wait till they come, usually you'll be dead by that time but you exercised your right so good luck with that ;)

  7. I guess shootings only happen in places that are gun free:

    http://www.cnn.com/2013/02/03/justice/texas-sniper-killed/

A former Navy SEAL known for claiming a record number of sniper killings in Iraq was one of two men shot dead at a Texas gun range, allegedly at the hands of a fellow military veteran, officials say.

So, if there are guns around, this means everyone should be safe, is this right?

guns around mentally ill people means trouble, no one denies that, in that case shooter was mentally unstable, which was known beforehand so decision to bring him to the gun range was a bad decision, the whole situation there has little connection to gun free zones shootings

  8. When was that even shown? Certainly not in the Zimmerman case. Under Florida's shoot a ####### and get away with it law, all he had to show was that in his demented ###### #### mind, he was getting his ### kicked by a teenager for being a nosy little paranoid ####.

what matters is that he was able to prove that he was beaten and couldn't stop it, maybe if Martin was such a nice boy as everyone try to make him he wouldn't try to beat the guy

  9. Trayvon Martin, for one. Why carry a gun, legal, or otherwise, if not to shoot people?

what happened with him? oh wait, he was trying to kill the other guy and got shot, so if Zimmerman didn't have a gun he would have been dead, and shooting someone is very complected affair, you think you can just walk away from it? look at what happened with him, and I assure you, no one, and I repeat no one who legally carry a gun do it to shoot someone, anybody who wants to do that doesn't need permit for that, but then again we're not talking about those people

  10. Oh boy, here we have Putin's troll peddling Putin's propaganda again. Come up with something original once, Danno, why don't you?

LOL "Putin's propaganda" is a new catch phrase this year,

so everytime someone saying that those "peaceful" protesters were not really peaceful or that new government in Kiev is not really legitimate or that people don't really like that new government, that is of cause not true, all people of Ukraine wanted that and those videos of them burning and beating police never really happened and were filmed on mosfilm studio by Putin himself, of cause those who don't like this new government are terrorists and must be killed, how dare they protest in similar ways they did, and Russia of cause can not move their own troops inside their own country, this is a big no no, only US/EU can allow them to do things like that, and Crimea referendum was of cause bogus and people are running away from there back to Ukraine in huge numbers

  11. knife wound is not much better then bullet wound, blood loss and destruction of vital organs is what kills you, he just was not determined enough to do so, it was a sneak attack and no one even noticed what have happened to them in the beginning, so he could stub so many, he could have done much more damage if he wanted so, would it be worse if he had a gun? possibly, but we don't know that because people would have run if they heard shots, but existing laws was enough so he couldn't get a gun or he chose not to use one, it just shows that people will do bad things no matter what, trying to push it into gun debate is just a bad tone

  12. Leave the ate and length blank and hand-write Unknown after printing out the form. No explanation/reason is needed when filed with a pending I-485. In other words, you do not have to tell them why you want AP. You also do not fill out the parts about what counties you will visit. Nothing is filled in those parts on the example form because as it states on the form, you skip to part 7.

right, but in part 7 they say explain on a separate sheet of paper how you qualify for advanced parole, there is even an example of supplemental part 7 on VJ, but do they really need that?

  13. I went through the form one more time and noticed that they have a notice saying that if you are applying for nonDACA related AP you should skip the part about proposed trip details and fill it only if you are DACA recipient, I assume that family based (k-visa) is not daca recipient, is that correct?

also looking at example form on VJ they have no info in proposed trip details, just want to double check if that is correct

  14. my wife needs to go back to her country in a few months to finish K2 visa process for her daughter, and we didn't really expect that green card process will take longer then four months so we didn't apply for AP right away but now is the time :) so have a quick question, in the application they ask for specific dates and duration, we just have approximate date is that ok? and don't really know about duration since it might take up to a month for here to finish everything up there, should I put 30 days, do they care about duration that much? they also ask for country and reason to visit, so what should I write: travel or K2 visa application, do we need to go into details about that? there is also something about writing on a separate sheet about why do you need advanced parole, I kinda didn't get that part, what do they want there?

  15. then Ukraine does not need the VWP. If it were up to me, I would not spend a nickel to help fix another country's problems...our own country has numerous problems that are not being addressed. I don't see Ukraine offering us anything, except headaches.

you are missing one point here, midterm election is this year, so every politician is gonna play ukraine card to get some extra votes, there are so many problems right now in the country and people need new distraction

  16. Great Kremlin talking points! You forgot to deny that Russian troops are even in Ukraine. Such preposterous propaganda would be hilarious if its perpetrators weren't actually trying to push it off as serious. No rational person gives it a hint of credibility. Go back to drinking your vodka Vlad.

you believe western propaganda doesn't work as good as russian one? so your position here is the only right and unbiased position about this situation?

there is no much reason to even watch russian tv but just see some videos of what was going on on maidan to see what is going on

I don't really care if russian troops are there or not, they have their bases there and can be there, unless we see russian flag in their hands that is nothing more then assumption that their who they are

  17. The people of Ukraine had the courage to stand up to their kleptocratic tyrant. People in Russia should have the same courage.

Government which was legitimately elected by entire country was overthrown by a few thousand people, mostly drivent by "right-sector" which is well known nationalist organization, from the talks with some ukrainian people who just being there during all those demonstrations they told me that no one outside the maidan really paid much attention to what is going on, if entire country was so upset by their government then why there were no millions of people protesting?! Everything that happened there looked as well planned coup, opposition came in power and will become as corrupt and tyrannic as previous government, with nationalist in government it is inevitable. If entire country would revolt against government that would be completely different story but right now it is not "people of Ukraine" but rather opposition had resources to do that, if I'm not mistaken Yanukovich agreed to opposition demand to do early election, there was no reason to escalate the situation any further unless someone specifically needed this to be way more then what it was, integration with Europe would take time and there were certain requirements but now Europe wants to expedite the process, other countries also want to help with money which wouldn't happen otherwise and now this petition to get visa... this just all seems very well planed and not by people of Ukraine, someone just really wants to bring cold war back I guess
