I dont know. I know that people say that it depends on a case but mine is as simple as it get. First marriage. No criminal record of any sorts on either ends. Did all my schooling here and have a decent job. So I honestly can't think of a single reason. I guess I am just unlucky.

Also, I called my senator. They told me that I have to wait 30 days after 5 months before they can do anything. So that's that.

I called on the 20th of this month. They told me that they are processing March 19th. Since my date is March 07, I was able to put in a service request. They said that I should hear back from them in 14 calendar days and if I don't, I should call them. So just waiting now.

I called them today actually. They told me that I can't file a service request and just have to wait because I am still in the normal processing time (as VSC is still processing the date of Feb 27th). Sighs. There's another user here who said that they have been calling since the past 14 days and are being told the same date. So I don't know.

Thanks for letting me know and congratulations on your approval. I check my status regularly on the site but alas, nothing as of right now. Let's see.

Yeah, I am going to call them on the 7th. However, after reading the comments of others on this forum, I feel like it will take 6 months. I don't know if I can ask for a service request on Tuesday but I will try. Then I will wait for another two weeks before contacting my congressman.
