Hi,
I'm in a complicated situation right now and don't know what do to. I received a B1/B2 visa this year in January and flew to the US. I returned a week ago and realized that something awful had happened on my way back. When I left Boston the check-in receptionist totally forgot to remove the I94 paper from my passport. However, it was taken from me at the passport control booth in Reykjavik, Iceland. I didn't ask any questions because I thought it was part of the protocol. I know this may sound retarded but I was completely oblivious to that paper's role before a friend told me. No one ever told me when I arrived in the US what I'm supposed to do with it.
I called both my embassy in Romania and the airport in Reykjavik and I couldn't get anything. Nobody knows why that piece of paper was taken from me in Iceland and nobody knows what do to.
I know this situation is complicated but is there anyone that experienced anything similar?
Thanks,
Alex

I'm glad to hear it's no big deal. My friend went on this Work & Travel program and they told him that he absolutely must return the I94 otherwise he'll never go to the US again. That's why I kind of panicked when I realized what had happened.
Thanks a lot guys
Alex
