Hi there. I am now in the USA and have been told by the officials at the homeland immigration service that I need a 2nd medical exam in the USA even though I've had one less than 4 months ago in the USA...I've been told this by two different officials...is this true? Has anyone had to have a 2nd medical??

Had interview at 8am...
APPROVED! Yeeeeeeeah buddy!! Woo!

My interview is tomorrow... so nervous!

Oh my gosh... holy crumpets! I totally forgot about ds part 2 I printed it off somewhere but seemed to of misplaced it!... Thank goodness I read this thread

don't be so sure! I wasn't expecting an interview for at least 3-5 weeks from my medical but they seem to be very quick! I had my medical on Thursday and already have an interview at the london embassy for 2 weeks from now I did what you are going to do and I got approved whilst I was in the USA...in saying this I'm not sure what country you're from so it might be differentMy fiance and I also decided for me to go visit, though we really don't have the money. We thought about just waiting because we didn't want to book a trip and then the next week get our NOA2. But even if it was approved tomorrow it would take a couple of months for the interview, medical, etc. and we haven't seen each other for months. I'm going this weekend and will stay for 10 days. Hopefully seeing each other again will make the last stretch of the wait for the NOA2 more bearable.
It's depressing because I thought we'd already be married and together again in the U.S. by this point. Last time we saw each other leaving was hard, but we were comforted by the thought of it being the last time we'd have to part. Let's hope that this time really is the last time we have to say goodbye. :-/

While 4 months is not really that long compared to us Vermont filers; to the poster it is. There's no need to be nasty. I am becoming more encouraged with Vermont speeding up, I must add.
I agree with you. I didnt create this threat for malicious comments

We were hoping the same but I agree it's looking unlikely now. I decided to go to California to visit as it was getting tough being alone. I leave on Saturday. It's only for 2 weeks but I feel a whole lot better knowing I'm seeing him
Nice. My fiancé is originally from Santa Cruz, but living in Missouri at the moment. I'm here till jan 1st...everyday we pray that it will be the day we get our approval

So you guys don't tell them you're visiting your fiancé or even boy/girlfriend? I'd be scared that after a few questions they would find out, and if you don't tell them upfront they might think you're trying to hide something....
I'm not in that catogory of people that don't say why they are visiting. I ALWAYS say it's my fiancé I'm going to see. They are fine with it. Lies WILL catch up with you I believe.

Landed yesterday in the us for 2 months through JFK...probably the easiest time I've ever had getting through...took about 1 minute...very friendly

It feels like CSC is dragging their feet!! Come on guys... we're so anxious here... Next week, we'll be my timeline range. My prayer goes to all the July filers!!!!!! And of course all the other who is in this hell of a process! Lol...
They are totally dragging their feet! My timeline was 10 days ago! Lol we just have to take in mind that the timeline is an estimate and hope for the best
-
I know it's only a rough estimate...but my timeline has past O_O guess I can't be mad because technically it is up to a 5 month wait or more!...Cummon CSC!

When I created this thread I didn't think there would be so many approvals already! Just wish I was one of them...getting REALLY paranoid now
-
I feel as if I've been left behind I see a lot getting approved I hope my time is soon!

I'm 23 and my fiancé is 46...I feel like the adult most times. But we have been together for 4 years now and used to live together before he moved back to the states...I would of thought that if you can prove that it is a legitimate relationship, you can only hope for the best. We have our rental agreement and bills in both our names...

When i fly to visit Robin in Scotland I'll be flying into Manchester with our puppy because I'll be staying for 6 months what will I need to keep from getting denied ?
Please be careful...this woman was denied entry when she came with her cat for a 6 month stay on a tourist visa...there is also a follow up video of her talking about her ordeal...maybe worth taking a look?

If I can help it, I'll never go back there again...they questioned me for 45 minutes and searched my suitcase, rang my fiancé, who didn't answer his phone! This is just my personal experience, and it was enough to make me not want to go back. They are just doing their job but it was still unnerving ....think that was my 1st time travelling alone or the second.

So My two year green card will be expiring soon... Can anyone point me in the direction of what forms I need to get my 10 year green card? What topic board would that be?
Thanks!
