I want to Thank the Office of Congressman Fred Upton. I visited there office on Monday. They were able to take my file from the black hole and get it approved! Me and Munique are so Happy!! I wish the rest of you luck. Try to visit your congress persons office I truly believe it made the difference in our case.

Do not know how much more disappointment we can take! We have been waiting since July 26th. Every day we look together for hope of a No2.... I really hope it comes soon

Sadly, there is nobody to listen except us VJers. It's very frustrating, and even though I haven't had to go through the wait yet, I can surely empathize with you. There really should be a process in place to insure that things like what is currently happening at CSC don't happen, but there isn't. All we can do is make a lot of noise and hope someone hears us. Honestly, even if we could affect a major change in how they operate, it won't change our cases, but might help those in the years to come. It really is unjust how the system works right now. If CSC continues processing Nov/Dec cases and next month they miraculously claim to be within the 5 month period again, while all the July-October people continue to wait, I'd hope that they would allow all those petitioners to ask for and receive expedited service; even if it meant delaying my own petition.

Every one here has a loved one that they can't wait to share the rest of their lives with! We all deserve to be with our loved ones as soon as possible. Every person, even if they filed after me I'm truly happy for when they receive there no2 as I know the excitement and desire they have to be together! I wish you the best of luck and hope your wait is much shorter then ours.

exactly, but who is there to listen? I have tried to contact the csc. I have been given a service Request the answer was give us 120 more days. I have emailed my representatives, yet to hear back from them so a trip to there office is in order. What I'm upset about is I can get no answer to my questions I believe we are all at least entitled to that. I want to do something about it but I don't know what else to do.

I'm Happy for those who got approved but when I have been waiting since July 26th I have the right to be mad when my case along with most filers July 19th and beyond have been ignored! Im starting to loose my cool!

July 26 csc No1

Tomorrow will be 8 month. Never would have thought it would take this long! I really was thinking me and Munique would be together by now. Hard to make plans for the future when you have no idea when the future will come Sad

We are July 26th as well and have heard nothing It does not seem right as we approach 8 month in a few days that so many others are being approved before us. I have yet to see a July 26th no1 to get there n02

Just got off the phone talking to a tier 2 representative. I'm not sure what he did with my case but said csc has until march 13th to process my case and that I should hear something by then. That is not a service request is it? Any idea what this Representative did for me?

7 month today!! I never thought it would take this long I hope all of us hear good news soon. At least I'm traveling to Brazil in 17 days to see my Love! Wish she was coming back with me this time.

Just got off the phone with the CSC. exactly a month ago I called about the status of my K1 visa Filed on July 26th. At that time I was told they were a little behind schedule and to call back in 9 days. Reading the forums here on Visa Journey I held back on calling since every one here seemed to be posting the same information. I just assumed our day would come. Now that 6 month and a few days have passed I called them today. First of all I must say the Customer Service agent was very nice and tried to be helpful. She told me that they were processing applications from July 17th and could not put a service request in for me for another 9 days. When I told her this was the exact information I was told a month ago she sounded a little shocked. She told me she had no other information and said she knew this was a very stressful time. If there is a valid reason for this delay I would be disappointed but understanding. What upsets me the most is there is an issue going on at the service center but they are not giving this information to the public. There has been no approvals here on Visa Journey for the past 6 days! What is going on??? Rant over!!!!

Few questions for people on here. I read a few people on here were able to request a service request. What did you have to do for them to put the request in for you??

Is there any way to talk to a person who is at the CSC not just a representative who would have more information?

It amazes me that July K1 approvals started in September of 2012. Now on January 9th they are halfway through the month! I will admit I got my hopes up thinking this process would be much quicker then the 5 month average as stated by the service center but this just does not seem right. I would do anything to go back in time and have all our paper work in early July. If so we would be together now! It's not just unfair for myself and Munique but to all other k1 applicants still waiting. Hopefully we will all be with our loved ones soon! If anything this process just makes us stronger! 10 days ago when I called the csc it was July 16th they were working on Great to see how nothing has changed in the past days.
