    Im not trying to be a bully, don’t get me wrong, just want to understand why pain and stress of this process if you can live, work and travel without problem.

    I believe this is everyone"s feeling when it comes to the process , it's been more than 17 months since I applied , the processing time when I applied was 8-10 months , so you plan your life accordingly , when you don't know when they gonna call you , then they call you , and 2 days before the interview they cancel the interview cause your file is not there , then wait another 3 months and this is just an idea and when you think it's over cause you reach the interview , you get a rude officer who just wanna dig for any reason to deny your application, then another month of waiting. I guess now you have an idea why its stress and painful.

     

    I believe if you don't see any difference between LPR and being citizenship then you shouldn't apply , yes indeed the feel of freedom when you get the citizenship cause you can travel anywhere you want without thinking of how many days your will be out and if that gonna affect your case.

    Hi guys

     

    at last after 17 months and a half of pain and stress , the oath is coming this Friday and I have question

     

    My Oath ceremony will take a place this Friday in Miami , am looking to apply for expedite passport cause I have an international trip after 10 days from Oath , what is the process and where to go , if you can provide links will be great , how long does it take if I do it with expedite service ??

    Hey guys. 

     

    I received an update on my case saying oath ceromony date scheduled sent to you yesterday. How long does it take to receive it by mail ? I guess 3-4 days ? Just wanted to be sure cause the wait is killing me. 

    Am June 2017 filler and I had my interview oct. 9th. The results of interview was cant reach a dicision and the officer was so rude and she needed to review my file.

    You will likely hear something within the next month. 

     

    Should the cutoff move beyond your priority date then the best first step is usually making an Infopass appointment at your local field office and speaking to an officer face-to-face. 

    Sorry but what do u mean by May 23rd is the currently the cutoff for being able to submit a case inquiry ? 

    Can u please explain. And if there is a website to check that ?!

    Good Morning All .

     

    Just wanted to ask what is the options I have if my N400 application is turning out of the processing time for my office .

    I sent the application in May 2017 , priority date June 2nd 2017 , office is Kendall - Miami , the processing time right now is 10.5-14.5 months , from my understanding it starts from the date of receiving your application which is in my case June 2nd.

    so quick calculation it means I will be out of the processing time after Aug 17th.

    what is my options when it come to actions I can take and what is the best action that it will give a results , hire a lawyer ? contact the senator office ? info pass ?

    my interview scheduled on July 13th and 3 days before that it got cancelled due to unforeseen reasons " my file hasn't arrived to the office "

    Hello 

     

    My citizenship interview was scheduled in july Friday the 13th. " I know it's a bad day already" 

    Everything was fine till 3 days before the date. I received a mail saying due to unforeseen reasons.  My interview is been cancelled. And we will reschedule ur interview in another date.

    Of course I played dumb and I went. Did t mentioned anything about the cancelation hoping I will get an answer. 

    The officer checked me in. Ask me to wait by the interview door. 15 minutes later. He called me again. The head of center came down as well. They were very nice apologizing that the interview is been cancelled as my file haven't reach the office yet. " kendall miami " 

    She said she cant tell how long this will take. Could be days or a year :( all I have to do is just wait. And if I didnt heard anything within couple of weeks I can request an info pass but the answers could be the same. 

     

    My questions . Anyone had the same thing. How long this could take knowing am May 2017 filler under 3 years rule.

    So. I went on time. They let us in. After security and waiting outside of interview office. Everything was great till the officer came and took my appointment latter again. And went to his desk. Then after 10 min he called my name. Told me we r sorry but ur interview is been cancelled. The head of the office came down and she was apologizing.  They were very nice honestly. Although they didnt gave us any good or specific answers. She said ur file didnt make it yet to kendall office and noone know how long this could take. Days. Weeks months or even years !!! Yeah I know. 

    So am back to square one almost with the endless waiting. 

    My status at the app still haven't change. "Interview is been scheduled " not sure if it will remain the same or it will change after sometime.

    Hi all and congrats for sunshine. 

     

    Unfortunately.  I just rcvd a mail from uscis saying my interview is cancelled and it will be rescheduled.  3 days before the interview.  Am so upset that I put ALOT on this and now the unknown waiting is back. 

     

    My question ? Can I play dumb and go this Friday anyway and what will happen ?

     

    The reasons they mentioned for rescheduling is is unforeseen reasons. 

    How long this may take ? My office is kendall 

    Ur advice is highly recommended guys. Thanks.
