  1. What a complete waste of time. My case is still at the NBC. The officer and the senior officer had no idea how interview waiver cases are processed insuring they are adjudicated at the NBC.. I asked him to put an urgent transfer case on the file and process it there. He said that would make it take an extra year. I said that the Cincinnatti office processing times indicate they are processing cases from June 2014. He agreed. I said USCIS are committed to processing cases in the order received. He agreed. I said in that case id only have to wait a month for a local office interview. He agreed and told me to write a letter to the NBC requesting an interview. I said that the NBC won't do that and could he put an urgebt case transfer on it (Tier 2 told me they could do that). He said we can't do that.

As for my expedite, they sent it to the NBC. It's now jailed in Lees Summit.

    Back to waiting.

HANG IN THERE MAN. I SMELL YOUR GREEN SOONEST

  2. My wife just called me at work. She got a phone call from the number 816. Yup, just 816. She said it was USCIS, letting her know she did not need to attend the Biometrics appointment set for her today. They confirmed her approval and told her she would be receiving her 2 year GC in the mail in the next 2-3 days. They confirmed that Welcome Notice would come first and then GC. I have not received any status updates though. I did log in to USCIS website and status is still on Welcome Notice mailed.

Great. all that anxiety gone now.my status went from mailed welcome notice to gc mailed today.and the EAD renewal was declined. did you try to look up the status on that too? 1-765??

  3. No I haven't but I have eaten frog legs before... .. does that count?!?!

Yes it was in FL, I looked at his profile the yesterday and no update, guess he is busy getting on with life, although if it was me, I would be constantly harassing the USCIS to get a case up date!

Constantly harassing?? that will be a futile exercise. there is absolutely nothing an applicant can do but to wait :protest::protest: . they all work at snail speed.

thinking too much about it builds up all that anxiety thats not very good for daily living. :crying:

Hoping to get some news anyways.

  4. Plato2000, have you received anything yet? It has been awhile since you went to Infopass hasn't it? I can't remember when they told him that his file was in FL. Anyone else remember?

I got an RFE requesting new medical as the one i submitted expired.. i have since done that and sent it via express mail to West Palm Beach office. still waiting

its been a year and 2 days. what more to do but wait :clock::clock::clock:

  5. They mailed me a copy of that form in the letter and it's dated the same so don't worry. Did you find out how much it's going to cost you? Mine is 135$. Wish it was cheaper.

Thanks for clearing the air on that. we didnt get a form attached to the RFE letter.

will go ahead and fill it out electronically then print. I'm banking on my medical insurance to cover costs, hopefully no co-pay needed

when did you get yours done and how long has it taken since you have followed up?

  6. lets just say I got a few calls from immigration informing me that my case was processed and that there was no need for me to email the people at the top. That if I needed to get a hold of them to contact the 1800 number. I said well I have a few times and got nowhere. They told me stuff I already no. And said I was in my every right to email them directly since I also have a .gov email

I had sent my emails thru work with a read receipt to the Main people of uscis and they did read my emails because I got the notifications that they did. The calls came from DC and they asked for me personally to inform me that they had process my wife AOS and if I had anymore questions to call them back. I responded I think I will contact directly thru email and they said I'm not allowed to contact them. And i said why? I can access them thru work emails And I just heard silence and she brushed me off.

wow. . congratulations anyway. my NOA was in March 2014. im still waiting for good news :idea:

  7. So we Battled the unfavorable wintry conditions and made it on time for bout two of my bio metrics. this time for the EAD renewal.not ready to lose my job!?!. could barely see on the the interstate Highway

All i needed was a cup of coffee and a supportive wife that ensured i didnt chicken out in my first experience driving under that condition. heaven knew i was ready to pull over and have her continue the trip.lol

NOA will be a year on the 29th and DL expires 10 days before then. exasperating but patience is a virtue.

  8. So we got to the field office. Very friendly lady requested infopass printout and my DL license. She admitted there was a backlog and k1 aos cases have been sent out to other Uscis field offices for adjudication. turns out my case is at the West Palm beach field office, just as the letter i got for my service inquiry had indicated.

K1 AOS are sent to your local field office if an interview is required or, you get registered as a permanent resident if your case is approved at the remote field office it . she said.

  9. If your letter came from the Florida office that is in fact very good news. They would have sent it to the Pittsburgh office if they required an interview. I can tell you this, if it is in fact at the Florida office, an InfoPass to the Pittsburgh office will be an asolute waste of time. They will be able to tell you as much as Tier 2. I have a question. When you call the National call number an enter your MSC #, where does it say your case is? (you can tell I did not go to Harvard, I ended a sentence with is)...Does it say the Missouri service center or Florida field office? (Well maybe 2 questions). I curious whether this message changes when a case is transferred.

This also tells us that yes they are working on NPIW cases by their Receipt/NOA1 dates and not the letter date. That is for the most part.

Yes, its at the National Benefits Center according to the Interactive system on their phone when i keyed in the receipt number. The letter was addressed from the USCIS office in FL

we don't know our fate even at this moment, so what this 'very good news'? we could as well be waiting on a GC for heaven knows how long.
