She said they were very nice, simple questions. What is your final destination? why did you get married so young? Are you travelling by yourself? Why did it take so long to see each other again. The four hours was just sitting and waiting, it only took about 20 minutes to get through her paperwork. It took 4 hours becase there were about 50 other people waiting as well, with the yellow envelope coming in with 1st time visas.

Hi Leizz, she's doing really well, loves it here in Phoenix. Each embassy is different, they were very friendly and strict when it came to the documents. Especially having your income taxes with W-2. Leizz, try to stay calm and breath, the interview is not as bad as people make it out to be. Just be yourself, and answer the questions truthfully. Anything asked you will know. Good luck

Counting down to 11days before my interview.. I am so anxious as to what are the things I should bring with me.. Right now Im making small square pictures of where we've been so I can paste it like a timeline collage on a paper to show them neatly.. Not being artistic but I heard they appreciate it when you have the documents in sequence and makes the process faster..

American Airlines was extremely helpful and placed her on another flight that was leaving within that hour and recognized that Immigration held her up longer than usual. We didnt' have to pay anything, then none of the luggage arrived, but AA delivered them to our house the following morning. We are so happy this journey is finally over, finally together in each others arms & safe.

Yes, 4 hours she was waiting in immigration, along with about 50 other people with the lovely yellow envelope. This was at the Miami International airport. Miami is major entry point to the US. She missed her connecting flight, but AA placed her and others on another one the same day. She is finally here

Just a very good tip for the interview is to do small mock interviews of possible questions from the forms sent to USCIS and NVC. It helped my wife a lot when it came to anwering them.

Prepared my documents, letters, receipts, pictures, air tickets, remittances, passport, etc and compiled everything in an envelope in preparation for my interview... Please Lord guide me all throughout this journey...

Just called NVC and was told case was completed on May 1st... Currently awaiting for interview date... Im not sure which comes first, NVC sending my documents to Singapore Consulate before they sched an interview OR scheduling an interview appointment first before they ship my docs to SG? Im so anxious about what's goin on! =(

I just tried to log into the online payment site and got his message: Please be advised that the case that you have attempted to access is not eligible for further processing by the National Visa Center at this time. Please click on the Contact the NVC hyperlink if you believe that you have received this message in error.
