Good news all. Jackielou is approved.
I was able to be there with her for the interview. Over all, as advertised. She had a 6:30am appointment. We arrived at the USE @ 5:30 We were complete by 9:30am. The filipino interviewer ask her about 4 to 5 questions. The the american conseler ask her only 3 questions. The rest of the questions were for me, about 7 questions. I was glad of that. It took the pressure off of Jackie.
Documents submitted:
DS forms (156, 157, 157K)
NBI Clearance
NSO Birth Certificate
NSO CENOMAR submitted, but it is not required.
I 134 and supporting Documents ( 2005 ITR & W2, Bank letter, employment letter)
10 photos of us together
copies of birthday cards she sent to me.
copies of our SKYPE calling record.
If anyone has any question please ask.
Regards

You can sign the DS-156 before the interview. Block 41 of the formHI Wendy, how u doing? did u manage to undergo ur medical exams already?? today will be my 2nd day, hopefully to get medical results but vaccines assigned today.
I'm doing okay. I plan to have my medical on the 2nd of March. Thanks for your concern. I need that though... you know.. nervous
.
I have a question guys. There's an advise somewhere here or in "ASAWA" that on DS-156K we should write on the 'DO NOT WRITE BELOW THIS LINE' the name of the fiance, date and signature. I am on K3 and I don't have DS-156K. Is the rule also applicable on DS-156?
Thanks.

My fiancee is filling our her DS-156 Form and has a few question.
The first is question 40....
40. Application Prepared By:
I told her to leave blank because she fill it out herself. What did you all do??
The second is question 37....
37. Are Any of The Following Persons in The U.S., or Do They Have U.S. Legal Permanent Residence or U.S. Citizenship?
Mark YES or NO and indicate that person's status in the U.S. (i.e., U.S. legal permanent resident, U.S. citizen, visiting, studying, working, etc.).
I told her to fill this out as......yes.....fiancee.......permanent.
She is filling one out for here daughter too. Does she fill that out no for her?
Here is the link to see the full question.

I just want to make sure im advising her correctly.
Question 40: If she is the one to prepare the form you leave it blank, then put N/A in the rest of the blocks.
Question 37: Mark Yes for Fiancee and US Citizen. I am assuming that your a US Citizen and not a permanent resident.
About the daughter, sorry I can help you there.

So...has anyone had their girl pick up her packet at the hospital? My gal's pack is there and I guess she can get it at any time even before her medical appt. date. Anyone done that? And if so do you perhaps know where to get it from?
pupledonkey, check out this link. Here its a copy of the packet. You can get your packet here. http://www.visajourney.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=1596
It has all of the info that you need. As long as you have you interview date your good to go. You can call the State Dept. to get the dates of the medical and interview. That all you need.
Good luck

AOS Approved Orlando
in Adjustment of Status (Green Card) from K1 and K3 Family Based Visas
Posted · Edited by TomandJackie
AOS was approved at the Orlando service center Dec 18th. All went well, had a 9:30 appointment. We got to the interviewer at about 10:15. She asked just a few basic questions. Stamped the passport with the I-551 stamp and said that the green card should arrive in 5 to 6 months. This seem's like a long time to me. I hope to have the card in a couple of weeks.
We are done for about 2 years. Next is to file within 90 days of expiration Dec 18 2008 to remove the conditions.
Merry Christmas to all
