hi
I was married for a year and greencard was granted. I just filed my I-751 yesterday to have the conditions removed due to being divorced. does anyone have any idea how long this will take?
-
divorce is complete yes
Your divorced is completed, right? Your divorce needs to be final in order to file by yourself on the basis of divorce.
Yes, the form is what you need to file, but it's the evidence you need to include with the form that is the hard part. You need to include as much evidence as possible to show that the marriage was genuine when you got your green card and all the way until you separated.
I have all of this, there should be no issues but just need to make sure what form I send in is correct without going through a lawyer

is that all that I need to do, file that form? or is there more?

hi,
me and my ex were together for 2 years, got married and was granted green card. she decided to leave me after 1 year of marridge. I am still within the 2 year conditional greencard. I need to file to get these conditions removed. everthing was legitimate and we are both willing to do this together as it was a conflict of personalities. I need to know how and what to file to avoid lawyer fees. I need to have this done before November can anyone help?
Thanks in advance for your help.
Chris
we were together for 3 years and married for 1

Hi all
i was in the usa under a f1 stdent visa on a golf scholarship and have applied for the p1 visa on the i-129 visa which they requested more information on 2 occasions.
the last information that they sent me that was i was out of status on my f1 for a few months and that i need to apply for this p1 abroad, so now i am home in scotland but still in the process in the us,
does anyone know what my employer needs to sent to the embassy in the usa to prove that im no longer in the usa to get the petition approved so i can then apply for the visa here to enter the country?
thanks in advance
Chris

Extention letter
in Removing Conditions on Residency General Discussion
Posted
So i filed to have my conditional residency waivered as i was divorced last week and got a letter saying that its been extended 1 year and that i have to wait to get another letter for the biometrics appointment. I have no criminal charges so does this look good for me to have the conditions lifted or not?
