My guess is that congressman hasnt done anything yet since they are waiting until 60 days after I opened the service request. I guess if I dont heard anything back from uscis by 60 days then I should call congressman again.. Right?

Hello. We called the office of our congressman and were told that "it can take 1 month until they hear back from USCIS". This is non-sense to me. I already waited 2 month and did not back from my service request. I thought congressman is faster in helping.

Is calling the state congressman always helpful? I did not heard anything back from him (I know its soon). Thanks.

USCIS gives us an address, determine the postal service we should use, and charge us $$$; then they just forget about us. I wonder why the governmental organizations are not under supervision so they do their job the right way. Oh, and by the way, we are in 21st century.

Thanks... I called and was told that based on the letter they sent, I should wait at least 60 days after the date of the letter. How can I open a new service request when the agent knows that I already have submitted one?

I cant file for N400 yet, should wait 3 months to fulfill 33 months required after my green-card date, right?

My problem is my job, I wont be able to work after the 1-yr extension letter is over. Plus, I cant even switch my jobs because employers want a green-card that is not about to expire.

We dont know how to contact our local representative. What is that? The governor?

So here everybody believes that my case was lost or misplaced?

It says the typical "your case is still pending adjudication" answer.. and I will hear something by 2 month(???!). Its been already over 9 months, no RFEs no decision. Should I just wait as the letter says or what is my best option? Unlike many of you, I haven't got any RFE, approval, or interview... Nothing. I filed around Sept 15 to Vermont Center... No. Online it only says that the application was recieved 9 months ago. Thats it. Im afraid that they had sent an RFE or ... and I never recieved it.

It sounds like most of this group members were approved. Im still waiting, its been so many months since I submitted. I'm more frustrated since I cancelled my trip. Anyways... I opened a service request 28 days ago. I was told that I must hear something back in one months, but I heard nothing so far. No mails, email, or call. Im totally dissapointed at USCIS and dont know what to do. No RFEs, nothing. Im not totally ashamed of immigrating to US, but I dont feel proud of it either. USCIS = United Stated Collection of Idle Snails. Im very glad that they are not in charge of US economic growth. Ok, I now stop complaining. What the f*** should I do now?!! Are there any other applicant here still waiting (with no RFE) like me?

I called, then got a call from uscis, they basically said that I have a 1 year extention letter so I should wait 6 more months(!!!!!!!!) and call uscis again if I wont hear anything by then. Its been already 7 months. Should I call again?!

VSC is a free school to learn patience.

5 months waiting = Masters

8 months waiting = PhD

So I guess the longer, the better.

My guts tell me that this week is the special week full of approvals. However my guts is typically wrong though Im checking the website every 3-4 days, no update yet. I wish uscis could send us weekly status update through email... So we knew for sure what is the case status every week.

Since I check this page every week, I can feel first the approved cases are announced, then the RFEs start to show up. Its been oficially 6 month after we filed 751. USCIS is slow for sure, maybe if they hire more people to process faster, that also helps the unemployment rate to goes down.

Based on record of August filers, there is a 30% chance of RFE. We should be hearing results within the next few weeks.

Just noticed that August filers in VSC are 33% approved now. We should start seeing Sept VSC approvals any day. It looks like theres not a lot of applicants here filed in VCS in September, however.

Question about tax documents: I had included hard copies of tax PDF files generated by TurboTax in my 751 application. Is that considered "tax transcript" or should have I actually ordered transcripts from somewhere? Thanks..

Thanks. I agree with u. Im just concerned b/c the postman who delivers our posts is the worst and has put our mails on other mailboxes several times. I wonder in this 21 century why still people even use the post service when they can use emails. Would USCIS update our status on their website if they send us an RFE or transfer notice?

Thank you! Can we "request" it? I dont really think so, I thought its out of our control. But looking at last year September filers (2013) it looks like all pf sept-dec 2014 cases was trasnfered to CSC about ONE-TWO months after they filed... I wonder why this year no one was transfered.

You can contact them. From what we are seeing in the timelines for VSC is that they are taking a long time to process. If you go to May-July Forums VSC is still working on those. It's weird. If transferring is an option I would sure request it. Best wishes!

Hi. Its my first time posting here. I filed 751 to VSC on mid-September. Did my biometric on mid-October. Havent heard anything since then, no RFEs, no transfer notice to CSC, nothing. When I check online it says: case was received, that's it.

Questions:

1- May I had been also transfered but for some reason have not got any notice yet?

2- May an RFE had been mailed to me but has been lost on its way?

3- What portion of September filers have been transfered to CSC?

4- Should I contact USCIS?
