  1. She can do the ASC in Mexicali or in Juarez... The medicals are walk ins theres 2 clinics Clinica Medica Internacional I suggest that one the other ones name is Servicios Medicos, also to be there very early because there are alot people.. my husband (then fiance) went at 4:30 a.m and there was already 30 people ahead of me .. Good Luck :D !

  2. took sveta about 2 hours to clear customs she said they had problems taking her fingerprints , also remember you also need think about RUNNING to another terminal for connecting flight and this not always easy.... also remember you can call cbp in houston airport and ask as rule how buzy at 10 am as they receive reports from airlines well before arriving of gate times and number of people

I just called and the officer said "every day is busy mam" and he said he cant give me any information on flight what a great help he was at least he answered my other question if there were officers who spoke spanish he said yes.

  3. I can't vouch for how long visa-related processing may take on entry, as entry on the L1 visa I have is relatively easy since it's a non-immigrant visa. However, I can comment on the airport more generally, assuming you are going through the main airport, Houston Bush International, not through Houston Hobby.

Houston is a busy hub, and sometimes big lines can build through border control and customs. It depends on if it's a busy time of year, how many flights have arrived just before yours, and which terminal you arrive at. You will also probably need time to transfer between terminals, and this will take a while. That said, 2h50m should normally be enough time to make a connection, ignoring the visa processing.

Ive traveled through Houston before but I just go through without any problems because Im a US citizen but this time it will be different since Im traveling with him. When I arrive its always about an 5 -8 minute super speed walk hehe. I always arrive through united. Do you think the airport will be full at 10 a.m monday ?

  4. Hope everyone is having a goodmorning/day! I just wanted someone to tell me their opinion. My babe is entering on a k1 and I will be traveling with him to the states as well but obviously Im US citizen hehe. We have a connecting flight to Boston and we have 2hr and 50 minute layover in Houston. Is that enough layover time? It will be on a Monday morning around 10:00 a.m. Ive tried to look at POE revies but some dont have much information :). Well it give us time to buy something to eat before our next flight :)? Please and thank you .

  5. Congratulations! Normally they give you the I-94 during the flight, otherwise have your fiancé ask the flight attendants for it. As for questions that might be asked at the POE, it differs. When I arrived into the States, all I was asked was when and where the wedding would take place. Here is a link to the Houston POE reviews; please read them and that should answer some of your questions

    Thank you very much friend!

  6. I could have not done any of this without this helpful website so thanks to everyone who has helped me out and answered my questions. Well after a 221g for affidavit of support and more pics (it took 2 weeks after I sent the missing papers to get an approved visa) he whole process took 9 months approximately since I sent the i129 petition and finally my fiance aka hunny boo boo lol is coming to the US on the k1!! All I have to say to others is that its a long process but once you get an approval its amazing feeling! You feel soo happy, I felt sick, happy, nervous, and what not. But I just have question do they give him the i94 during the flight or where do they give it to him? Also what kind of questions do you they ask at port of entry? Anybody ever entered through Houston, Texas on a k1 how long did it take.. We have a connecting flight do you guys think 2 hrs and 49 mintues is enough time? We are traveling during the week in the morning so from my travel experience weekdays arent as full as weekends.. Please and thank you!

P.S P.S : For those who are curious a religious ceremony is not considered legal in Mexico! How do I know this? Well because when I sent the i129f petition I sent pics of our religious ceremony and got approved. When my babe went to his interview he was just asked for more pics with our family and the i864. I hope I help anyone who is going through this because I cant lie I thought it would cause a denial but the officer who intervied my babe said the officer said " Dont stress it just send me the missing documents and remember a religious ceremony is not recognized in Mexico." Good luck to anyone who is going through. I'll glady help out anyone :) !

  7. Yay after getting a Section 221g for joint sponsor and more pictures .. we sent the papers on the 6th of February and got an approval February 20th so about 2 weeks to get an answer.............. IMMMMMM SOOOOO HAPPPYYYY EXCITED ! And now I can say with guarantee that a religious ceremony (catholic) wedding has no affect on k1 considering we even sent pics of the ceremony soo boo yah too all the negative comments I received on a post I deleted a while back!!! Congrats to others that were approved as well.. And to all those who are under 221g administrative review never lose faith it will come sooner or later !!! Thanks to everyone who helped me out on visajourney during this process.. This is just the beginning !

  8. Hello to everyone hope everyone is having a good day/morning lol .. I just checked the us-visa.info website and a waybill should up, but the website http://ciudadjuarez.usconsulate.gov doesnt say anything about my case? It was last updated yesterday Feb.19th 2013 the same day the dhl package was sent back to us? Should we worry? Either way Im happy.. God will help us through this if anything comes out negative :).

  9. Hello. My wife also got the slip today....very disappointed. We were missing the I-864a from my sister's husband. I'm very worried. Is she going to be denied her visa? After we send the missing docs how long does it take to get a response from Juarez?

I dont know sorry :(.. Thats the ssame question Im asking but once I find out I will let you know

  10. Sorry if this is the wrong Forum :( hehe.. Hope all are having a good day..

Well my fiance had his interview last month on the 23 of January and received a blue slip thank god we dont have to go back again.. I sent the required documents to the Consulate in Juarez but now I would like to know how long could it take to receive an answer? Juarez received the documents the 6th of February (yesterday). Can anyone who has been through this tell me about their experience? Im looking for topics but cant seem to find any with much information? Please and thank you :)

  11. Never heard of Juarez asking for the I-864 for a K-1. From their instructions: "The Affidavit of Support I-864 is not required."

But if that is what they want from you, then give it to them. You will need to fill out another I-864 for AOS after you are married, so I guess this one will teach you how to fill it out and you will be ready for AOS as far as how to fill out the I-864 anyway. There is an example form here on VJ under the AOS example forms. If you need any help filling it out, just ask.

    Thank you Jay-kay :)

  12. the color of the slip doesn't matter, it is what is written on the slip that matters. Along with pictures you should send copies of boarding passes and passport stamps from trips you spent together, copies of emails, logs from skype or msn, receipts from hotels on trip you may have taken together. Evidence is MUCH more than pictures. Good luck!!!

Thank you I was just asking because of people were coming out of the consulate with green slips as well. But thank you I will do I already have 30 pics and plan to send another 40 or something more and copy my passport stamps and boarding passes and Ill try to get phone call logs because the phone company I have doesnt give them out :/ .

  13. God can do the impossible. If we leave it to gods hands everything will work out. We ALL need to have faith! Just FYI. Everyone's opinion and beliefs are different. Anyways rocio make sure to send the evidence have faith don't loose it! :) you will be in my prayers! :)

Thank you Lupita Im going to send tons of pics of us with my family and more boarding passes and the only problem is just like you and your boy I never saved our few chat logs or anything considering that I would go to mexico and stay for 6 months and come back to the states for a month or 2 and work a little and then leave again we would only talk by phone and that phone company doesnt give phone call logs.. y si nada es imposible cuando un tiene fe :D !
