So am adjusting from F1 status and already mailed in concurently all the documents(i485, i130, 1765, and i131). I read somewhere that sending in a late registered birth certificate may be a reason for an RFE and so am just wondering has anyone been through this too and if so what supporting documents did you send to cater for the RFE. am just trying to be ready in case something happens hopefully not. will really appreciate you guys help
Thanks

I been approved. I checked my status online. Interview was on 9/5/2012. Baltimore, MD
"On September 7, 2012, we mailed you a notice that we had registered this customer's new permanent resident status. Please follow any instructions on the notice. Your new permanent resident card should be mailed within 60 days following this registration or after you complete any ADIT processing referred to in the welcome notice, whichever is later. If you move before receiving your card, please call our customer service center at 1-800-375-5283."
My journey started 4/18/2012 when my application was reeived. Thank you all VJ family appreciated. Yall feel free to ask my experience. Thx

What matters is income at the time of submission of the petition, therefore the most weight is given to the most recent year of return. In case if most recent year doesn't meet the requirement the current and projected income (based on pay stubs for the past 6 months and employer letter) can be submitted for consideration.
I don't think it's required nowdays to send 3 years returns , but many do anyway as it gives greater weight to your evidence , may show income stability/trends and it also shows that you met your responsibility and filed all the necessary returns.
The above is not an advise, just my subjective opinion, may be others will give you a better and more accurate answer.
Good luck.
thanks for the info

Hey guys, am asking this because am not really sure if its gonna be an issue or not. So am about to send in my documents and the i864 requires tax returns of 3 past years but the only thing is my co sponsor didnt meet the required amount in the 2009 but she made more than the required amount in 2010 & 2011. So has anyone been through this and is it gonna be an issue. Please advise
Thanks
