My spouses GC expires in first week of August:

I have following questions:

1. Once packet is submitted what are the conditions on travel if the dates go past last date of GC

2. What are the implications on employment, as she is currently working?

3. How soon is the appointment for fingerprinting and when is the GC received?

Step son is 5 yr old..

Do we need a seperate application for wife and step son..

Its $80 for fingerprinting. If your step son is in your wife's application, it should be $465+$80+$80

Come to think of it, how old is your step-son, I have no idea if you need to do fingerprints for really young kids.

As per the I751 Instruction, We have to Pay $465 for the application and $60 for fingerprinting.

I am applying for my spouse and my Step son.

So what would be my total fees : $465+$60+$60 or $465+$465+$60+$60

Are we allowed to use an affidavit from Relative or Brother living in US for I751

Does the affidavit have to be from a non relative...

Hi, for N600 there is no NOA at all. You have to wait for them to contact you. In our case, we got N600 done in a month and a half. First we went to our DO to get more info and ended up leaving form N600 with them (our paper was complete) .sA month and a half later they sent us a letter asking us to mail them back our kid GC. We went to see them instead. We gave them GC and they gave us cert. We were very lucky that we did not wait for long.

My wife got her Green card approved at California processing center, without an interview.

But my son recieved a RFE for I693A.

We know for sure that we submitted the I693A(Sealed) from a designated civil surgeon.

I fail to understand why we got an RFE even though we submitted the I693A for my son.

Can somebody share their thoughts?

What form do we use to respond to a RFE?

My wife just received the welome notice for AOS for california. She is expecting Green card within 2 weeks.

Is it required to have the GC stamp in the Passport?

We have not received an RFE? Should I still mail it to the CA address.

Have you received an RFE (Request for Evidence) yet for the duplicate passport and replacement I-94? If not, I would hold on to them untiil you do to ensure that the files don't get misplaced or miss each other. When you receive the RFE, you will return that particular document with the copies of the passports and I-94s and they will be able to keep the file together. It is good news getting transfered to California - once you get the RFE and they match up the files, you will probably be approved without an interview. I would wait for a bit, though.

My Wife and sons AOS case got transferred to CA. They recently received their duplicate passport and replacement I94.

Where should I mail the document?

The case was originally mailed to chicago, we got the I485 receipt notice from Missouri and now the case is in CA.

Should I mail the recent documents to CA.

Once they receive the replacement I94 and duplicate passport, Do we have to Inform USCIS about the update.

The normal process takes 3-6 months.

I heard they have emergency services for passport.

Do they issue the passport immediately?

Is is impossible to get hold of somebody on the phone at chicago.

We have biometrice appointment on 6/1/06.

The only picture ID my wife has is her Indian drivers license and copy of passport.

My son(3yr old) has copy of passport

Is that adequate for the Biometrics.

1. Read the I-102 instructions. You can't file for replacement of a lost I-94 at a local district office

6. File for AOS within 90 days of a K-1/K-2 entering the US.

I would file a police report regarding the lost passports and I-94s. You will probably need that for the I-102s.
