We are planning to present our CRBA related documents (for our daughter born here in India) during the early part of Feb 2019 at Chennai Consulate. I would really appreciate if anyone could relate their recent experience for CRBA.

Here are some specific questions I am wondering

1. Besides the documents listed on the consulate site, were there anything else that was inquired

2. Was there DNA testing involved and if yes, wondering what is the process

3. How long did this process take? 

4. Is CRBA approved/rejected at the counter?

Hello VisaJournears (I know that is not the right word),

My Mom has her greencard till 2015 however, she has over stayed in India for 18 months - I really want to bring her back from there. Wondering how to renew greencard again? Thanks for your help!

PS: BTW, she fell sick and was hospitalized due to lung issues - she was intubated and she took this long to get better. She has lived with us for 14 years and now she really longs to live with us. Any advise is appreciated.
