-
Am frustrated with the new support services, if VFS was there i would hav directly walked in n by now would hav gotten my packet 4 now i dont where to contact apart from the ustraveldocs. the customer support person say that the published result is not true you have to wait for packet 4... next week i see my scheduled interview in the list,, waiting for around 9 months to get the interview date and now unable to attend the interview since i have not received the app letter.. now am totally blank, dont know wat do
Hello,
Someone there at the support center do look at the below website and then answer my query. In that link they have clearly mentioned that If your appointment appears on the interview schedule but have not yet received an appointment letter within fifteen (15) days of your appointment, you may request a duplicate appointment letter by emailing support-india@ustraveldocs.com.
http://mumbai.usconsulate.gov/interview_appt_schedule.html
My interview is next thursday (November 1st) and i have not yet received my appointment letter. Am repeatedly asking you'll for the duplicate appointment letter to be emailed to me but you'll always have an standard reply "CONTACT NVC" In my first email itself i have said that i have contacted NVC and they say that "The NVC has completed its processing of this visa petition, and forwarded it to the U.S. Embassy or Consulate in MUMBAI (BOMBAY) INDIA."
So please do email me a copy of my appointment letter, It is urgently needed
Thanking You,
Arunadevi Ramasamy

I am nearly completing packet 3 and will soon be ready to send it back to embassy but I cannot find the correct address to return the packet to! I don't want to risk sending it to the wrong division of the Embassy as that will waste valuable time. Anyone who has recently mailed packet 3 to the U.S. Embassy in Mumbai. could you please let me know the correct address where I should send it.
Thanks so much!

Hello feb filers, here i go to increase your hope,,, my petition was approved
-
Even though some people who have February NOA1 dates have gotten approval, VSC is still behind schedule. I spoke to someone on Friday, 10 Aug and they told me they were on January 16th. It is hard to speak to a live person. The trick is to push the option that says "are you experiencing technical problems with system". That will get you a live person. Then say they that you did not hear the option you were looking for. Their priority seems to me (1) military (2) people who have never filed K1 before and all documents are correct (3) all others. I fall in the all others category because I filed K1, 4 years ago and then the lying girl informed me the night before her medical exam that she was pregnant with another man's child. Some of them you just can't trust no matter how much they say they love you.
No there is no such priority,, all k1 cases are same.. my fiance is in army,, we dont see any priorities. When he called uscis last week he received the same message that they were on January 16th.

I started my last week with 100 % hope tat my case will get approved but it went disappointed. n this week starting with more hope.... lets wait n see....Good luck to all of the feb filers...

Congratz
Wishing you'll good luck for the rest of the process

I couldn't understand in which order the petitions are approved. It is very painful when i see the case after me were approved n not mine but still keeping my hopes higher that i will get approved the next day.
-
Today is a better day, Kim and me are both more focussed on the wedding.
She went to a flea market to thrift tons of decoration and I worked in Church today which always gives me strength!
Just letting you know, the February filers are always in our prayers!!
Thank You so much for the prayers
Lets hope for the best

Lets clear this up. Why would you be calling NVC about your case when you haven't been approved? Once you get your notice of approval than they send your case off to NVC. That 5 months isn't a guarantee its their goal. If after your 5 months you can call USCIS and put in a service request even though at 5 months you are still within their processing times. Usually not until its been 6 months do they start maybe checking and seeing what is happening. Sorry
And stop looking at that last update in the majority of cases that date doesn't change until you are approved, Just because the date didn't change doesn't mean anything good or bad.
Before signing this forum i was not clear about the process,, we thought tat it would have approved and moved to NVC.. two of his friends got it in 5 months,, so we kept hoping for the same...only after reading several posts i came to know that the timeframe varies.. hoping to get it soon.

Hi Ajay,
Am from India,, we got engaged on November 2011 and filed for K1 on Jan 31, 2012.. we received our NOA1 on Feb 7th, 2012, after that we haven't received any notifications.. Hopefully we are waiting n waiting.. Will keep updating if i receive some news about our case.
-
We applied for K1 on Jan 31, 2012 and received receipt on Feb 07, 2012... when i registered to check the case status, it shows that it was last updated on Feb 11, 2012. It's nearly 5 months and 4 days and i have not received any notifications. When i called NVC yesterday, they said that they have not received the case from USCIS.
I dont know how many more months should i wait,,, but all the websites says that the VSC process completes in 5 months. My mind was set that i'll receive it in 5 months,, but now wen i see the last updated date am totally depressed
