  1. Filed my N-400 end of February 2010. Mid April, went for my fingerprinting. Today I received a yellow letter stating what documents to bring for interview IF not previously submitted. No mention of date and time of interview though so I'm assuming I'll be receiving shortly???

    Hello everyone,

    Thought of starting a post for sharing experience of Naturalization under the INA 319 (b).

    If you are undergoing this process, or already did, know someone who is or going to, have a question, story, concerns or just a simple thought, you are welcomed to share it here.

  2. Go to the court clerk and obtain copies. Minimal cost. If for some reason the arrest/incident report is not in the docket, you can always obtain through freedom of information act.

    hi,

    i m a permanent resident and i will be applying for citizenship next year;

    i made a mistake last MArch by patronizing a woman and i was arrested;

    the judge offered a plead deal to a violation wich i accepted;

    after consulting a criminal attornay i know my conviction is not a crime, and will not affect my

    n400 as long as i provide all the necessary documentation,

    however i still need to respond yes to the question on the N400

    now the precint told me they do not provide arrest reports (wich is part of the documentation needed), so my question is WHERE do i get that report?

    i cant go to the interview (about 2 years from today thouh) and say to the IO, oh sorry the

    precint does not provide that paperwork

    pls advice
