  1. I would fill out my timeline everyone but I had my case origonally handled by a law office and I am unsure of the dates things where sent out because I provided the documents to them and they would mail them out. So my filling it out isnt going to help many people seeing as it wont be right or even accurate. Thats why i dont have it filled in, im not doing it to be selfish. If i could help people i would but i dont wont to use dates not even close. But Thank you for that big time line that helped a lot !!

  2. Sorry for the delay in your husband's visa...I'm wondering, what makes the US Embassy place one under AP???

Most all middle eastern men get placed under it, and its basically more backround checking. From what i understand its because there are so many common names in that part of the world they do another check on it. But can take awhile sometimes.

  3. awwwww how cute, a little bitty baby. I don't think with the current unrest in the region you would want to travel with the baby either.

lol she is like a copy and paste of him. Its sort of funny, i just look like the nanny. And i totally agree it makes a lot more sense - and since she isnt old enough for having all her shots, i wouldnt want her to catch anything being so young.

  4. I understand the feeling 100%, it feels like you've had the wind knocked out of you. It's a horrible feeling when you hear the words" administrative processing", I was at the interview with my husband so I heard the words first hand. The consulate officer was just doing his job, and the checks are out of his control, it is nothing personal. The not knowing when it will end is the worst part. But you will get through it, and your husband will finally be able to meet his daughter. The only real advice I have is just try not to dwell on it or you will be miserable. I know it's easier said than done, but just try to go on with life as usual.

Thats the feeling exactly! And thats alright. I totally agree, i just get sick of the whole not knowing anything game. Im trying to just having his little mini me here is a blessing, but at times a little hard because i want him to see her growing up and all her little things she does. And over a camera it just really isnt the same. Id go there but trying to travel with a 1 month isnt the best idea.

  5. Thank you so much - I guess i got a little over excited thinking the possibility of him maybe being here this month that i got let down sort of hard. He keeps telling me to relax but its just kind of a slap in the face and feels so discouraging. But thank you for taking the time to answer back - i really do hope it dosnt take to long. The man doing my husbands interview seemed very pleased with our case, so im hoping it wont take so long. I want him to meet his daughter =/

  6. So my husband just got back from his interview and was placed on AP - i guess it wasnt the exact answer i was hoping for but its better than being denied. I just wanted to know from those of you that were on it, still are or your loved one was about how long it took before you heard anything back or got your passport. Anything would be great.

  7. Hey all!! So my husband goes in for his interview in Cairo, Egypt on Oct. 9th!! We are very excited and doing a lot of looking at reviews and such to see everything we need. Since our case was origonally handled by a lawyer all the proper papers are already with Cairo, but we are also gathering a little more extra stuff for him to take to his interview with him. We have extra photos of the two of us and family, photos of our daughter who was recently born, recent phone records and conversations, his bank statement, and a job offer. Is there anything else anyone could think that would help to bring along just in case? Anything would be great!! Thank you!

  8. I had a quick question for everyone out there - I just got the letter from NVC today stating my husbands interview is on the October 9th today (september 13) I dont know though with everything going on in the Middle East at the moment though if it will get pushed back? Has anyone else's got pushed back?

  9. Once your I-130 got to the NVC did you call and give them your email address? You can do that so it'll go a little more quicker than waiting for snail mail. Plus you can also pay online too. I think that once we called and gave them our email addresses, my husband got the email asking about his choice of agent. Once he named me, then we both got the AOS bill notice emailed to us so we could pay it online.

I hope that answered your question!

Lol actually right as i am complaining about this, i got the email! goshhh. See the issue was we are going through lawyers, and i told them to email me as soon as they sent in the packet to NVC and the fee bill, and hadent got anything from them. But now i have, freaking idiots. NEVER AGAIN WITH A LAWYER!

  10. Good Luck!

    I hope it helps.

I know some people get through NVC in less than 13 days. How long have you been at NVC?

I know you have a lawyer and they tend to slow things down so try and be proactive and bother him and NVC till you have your case numbers and pay the fees and send off the forms.

That will expedite your process more quickly then waiting for the congressman to expedite it

Also you can call NVC and request an expedite based on your pregnancy. Alot of people have tried...some have succeeded.

And I want to know how your friend who got married the same day as you got his interview waived? Did you find that out yet?

    God Bless

Thank you so much! and i know the lawyers screwed up some of our paper work so we have had to wait a lot longer than expected on some of the things to be fixed. I am going to do that for sure it sounds like a good idea, i have called once but had issues trying to figure out exactly what section to put it under when they asked me i was baffled. I havent i emailed her today and waiting for her to respond back but ill be sure to let you all know!

    Bless your heart.

Of course, they will tell you they will help you; that's their job. However, there are guidelines for USCIS. Unless you're outside of the timelines established, the congressman call will fall in deaf ears. NVC will keep your file until they're able to find an interview date for you.

    Good luck

Its ok i am alright i just wanted to take at least a chance if i can figure out ways to help him be able to be here. So whatever i have to do.

More power to you for trying. It doesn't hurt to try does it? Whoever can get through this process faster good luck to them I say :)

thats what i am thinking to, ill do whatever it takes and go to whatever measure i have to inorder to try and have him here.
