Last time i went in there i brought with me the appointment letter and an ID! I was done and out in less than 20 minutes.
It's not an interview !!

Bring appointment letter and ID, this will not be the interview.
thank you for your reply. how many id's they will asked? i only have my passport and my social security for now being in this country for almost 3 months.
just so curious, during the bio, is it only finger printing and photo taken?

Be patient, it took exactly one week for us to have the check cashed from the day the package was delivered. Still no NOA1 but I got my biometrics done today... ehh the bureaucracy
what did you bring during your biometrics and were you interviewed that day too?
-
Hello guys,
anyone had there biometric done? what are the things to bring? and are you going to be interviewed also during that time or it is plainly finger printing and your photo taken?
looking forward for your response as my biometric appointment will be tomorrow in atlanta.

I have the same exact dates as you and when I called because of your post she told me to call Monday morning ... Looks like we are all in the same boat. Is your Fiancee near Manila? We are so maybe you two will run into each other at the medical or the interview --
- interesting! I'm from cebu city and my fiance is from Georgia.

Mike&Haze,
I email NVC on Monday, June 18th and didn't get a reply, so I called them today, Friday the 22nd, and I got the information - Case Number and told that the package had been forwarded to Manila. Here is the information to call:
For the NVC:
Give them 7 - 10 days before calling. Call after 4:45 PM eastern time for shorter wait times
K1's are not tracked through the AVR, ever. They are processed like an immigrant visa, but they are NOT immigrant visas, so they fall into a completely different class of their own. Therefore you need an operator. To get there:
1-603-334-0700 Operator assistance is available Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 12:00 AM (Eastern Time)
Press 1 for English
Press 5 for an operator
Best of Luck to both of you.
ps. I used to live in Augusta, GA, well, Martinez, back a few years back. Great City.

Congratulations! I just got my NOA2 APPROVAL DATE(June 7, 2012) recently as well. I have yet to hear anything from NVC though although I have sent them an e-mail. Were there any special steps that you took to expedite things? Thanks and Congrates!
Mike
YEA!!!!!
Received our Manila Case Number after only 10 business days from NOA2 APPROVAL DATE(June 11, 2012). Also, I was told that our file was forwarded to US Embassy in Manila on June 19th. Great News!
I want to give you all waiting on your NOA2 and Case # an update, so you would keep your HOPE up while waiting.
Can you believe it . . . My Honey will be going for her medical and interview soon.
Thank you again VJ for all you assistance.
Tourist Visa- Is it worth a 2nd try?
in Tourist Visas

My wife has become a USC and we have attempted to secure a Tourist Visa for her mother to visit for a few weeks. Her mother is in her late 50's. She is widowed and has a 30 year old son who is working in Cebu. She sold her home after the death of her husband and has a makeshift, side of the road store for income. She presently has a new boyfriend in Cebu. On our first attempt at her visa she was turned down because of not being able to convince the official of her intent to return home. Since her original rejection she has taken a trip to Korea with her son and fiancée, staying a week. My question is that since she has gone internationally and returned, would that be evidence of her intent to return after being on a trip to the USA? Is it worthwhile to attempt another shot since having this new information?
