one of my friend told me that her friend just had her interview and she is with her husband.... she said that her husband cannot come with here inside the interview room ... is it true? can i go inside the US embassy premises?

bcoz i am going home to be with my husband on the day of his interview....

whoever finished there interview with there husband or fiance along with them, please answer my question.

I don't think I've read anything about this but my fiance said one of her friends who recently was at USEM had to pay some money after her interview. That doesn't jive with anything I've read.

Do you need to take any money to USEM if you already paid at the bank when you made the appointment?

Also, what's the "post interview" checklist before leaving Embassy?

Just ensure your Visa is going via 2Go and where you have to pick it up?

Have them write down for you any papers you were missing and need to bring back to embassy and what day you should bring them back?

our case was complete on Aug 16,2012

our intervew date for my wifes interview in Manila was issued today

Oct 16 is our big day 6:15 am

time for me book a flight to see my wife soon

How do you know that there are many interview slots open at US embassy Manila?

i went to this website where all the fiance petition go to, to pick their interview dates, there are still a lot more vacant...

still frustrated right now. hope to get a date before my birthday, this will be a great gift ever....

im losing my patience here... i really wanted to be with my husband...

there still a lot of spot in us embassy-manila for interview but i dont know why they are having a hard time to make an appointment date.

After multiple phone calls to NVC and e-mails to the U.S. Consolate in Hong Kong, I finally got an interview date for my wife...19 Sep 2012! I think it pays to be persistent!!!!! The NVC scheduled it AFTER they told me all the appointments for September had been filled!!! Anyway....I feel very relieved that the end is finally in sight!!!!!!!

congrats!!! is this for interview in the US Embassy Philippines? how you get an interview date? NVC completed my case last August 17 and they told me September is already full. did you email and call them... please share your story how you got it...

my case was complete 8-16-12 and i am also waiting for our interview

we will probably hear something from them early september and hopefully have the interviews set for early to mid october

all we can do is wait

i know, all we can do is wait and pray to have the interview date as soon as possible. please update me if you got your interview date already and vice versa...

thank you for all the answers.... i edited my timeline, i called NVC this morning, my case haven't left yet. they told me that there is no available interview dates for September and as soon as they got the date, they will forward my papers to Philippines, and they said it needs an interview date before my husband can do his medical... so i probably have October, i hope i get the first week. so eager to go home and be with my husband.

keep on praying to have the date as soon as possible...

After 7 hours paying at the BPI I was able to get to the scheduling for theinterview. Soonest available is Aug 17th, I need sooner. I'm hoping for cancellations or some more dates to open up. Has anyone verified when they updaye their interview schedule? Is it every morning or automatic? Do cancellations drop into the schedule?
