It's killing me as well. My husband is home but I am so worried about our family in Jamaica. Most of them are so set in their ways believing that it will turn and thats upsetting me. Yes it can turn but please just be prepared if it doesn't turn. Praying hard that it doesn't do too much damage.

Vj family Andray and I would like to say thanks to everyone! The tips giving really helped us to complete this process from start to finish without any mistakes or set backs. We were over prepared. Thanks for the laughs and encouragement along the way. For those of u still waiting on interviews, NOA2 and those just beginning this journey I wish u the best of luck. Stay focused, create a papertrail, ask questions and keep the faith! True love can endure anything!!!

My husband used Andrews Memorial. The physical was $9900J. He worked on getting his shots through a local doctor will he was waiting on all the information and documents to be submitted and approved through NVC. You can get a blood test that will show what shots u are missing. Just make sure if u are getting shots prior to the medical that they are at least 30 or more days out. I have seen Medical Associates tell ppl they couldnt accept their vaccinations due to they were too close to the medical. I dont know what that has to do with anything though. But vaccinations range from 2500J to 4500J. Hope this helps!!

Yeah, there weren't any real changes to it. On Monday it said picked up, shipment on hold and then on Thur it said, shipment received and 10mins later it said shipment ready for pickup in MoBay. No updates between...
These people needs some fire put under them for real. My birthday Sunday and Anniversary Monday he needs to be here for! I think I might email the embassy. Hmm maybe that will get something moving lol!!!

It may not be required but its always best to have it notarized so it leaves no room for them to question the validity of the document!

I emailed in the DS3032 and did not send in a paper copy I didnt have any issue. I printed it out and then signed it and scanned a copy of it and email it back from my husbands email address. No issues at all!

Now I also know ppl who waited for the dhl tracking info to update online and it had been there waiting to pick. My husband says he's going to look online and call them..lol! For once he wants to get something done at a quick pace! So ready for him to come home.

Alot of the hotels give complimentary weddings if you book so many nights there. You might try that. And they are beautiful as well. You can just google. Hotels that provide free weddings.

Is it possible to attend the interview without the USC ( petitioner)?
Why is the petitioner refusing to go to the interview?
-
I think the person that reads the emails is on vacation. I emailed them last week as well and didn't get a response.

Also some of the vaccination are age based. So depending on your age u probably will only need some of these on the list.

About vaccinations, I recently had the following vaccinations: Varicalla, MMR, Hepatiits A and typhoid and tetanus. Is there any more vaccination required. Trying to avoid paying too much
The following vaccinations are required for immigration purposes:
Hepatitis A
Hepatitis B
Influenza
Influenza type b (Hib)
Measles
Meningococcal
Mumps
Penumococcal
Pertussis
Polio
Rotavirus
Rubella

I'm in the same boat with you. I feel your pain. Me and my husband started this process in February. We were married 10/22/2011 coming up on our 1 yr anniversary and still in line waiting for an interview. This is driving me crazy it believe. All my dreams have been overtaken by the NVC and the hope for an interview email. I miss him so much. And even though we talk all the time as though these calls are free. I miss him like a fat kid miss cake ! Trying to keep a smile on my face!
-
Called NVC this morning about the interviews. The lady tells me "we are scheduling interviews this week, call back next week to see if you got one." There were a lot of things I could have said wrong on the that call due to built up frustration. But I kindly said "thank you have a nice day." I can't take another week of stress like this. Something has to give.

I'm still praying for October interview, even though last night I had a crazy dream. I got an email with the interview date from NVC....and we only had two days to make it to the interview date they assigned us! that would sound about right, wouldn't it? It takes two days alone to get the medical completed in Nigeria, and you have to schedule that about a week or two in advance! Prayers folks, prayers!
You were laughing at me having those dreams now you are having them What is going on with the interview dreams? NVC we are starting to lose it please send us some good news pleases!

but by the time our spuse gets visa, we will be atleast 1
I am in the same boat our 1 yr anniversary will be october 22. We so hope he will be home by then.
-
Just called again, wow Now NVC is telling me to call next week "IF" they had set me up for Oct. interviews. No Guarantee that they will be able to fill me in for Oct. Not good.
:crying:
This is getting ridiculous now! NVC doesn't know anything anymore.

My company will not do the letter either but we use the "worknumber" as well. From the site u should be able to fax a letter to yourself that will include all the info needed. Name, hire date, yearly earnings, job title, company name are all included. This is what I used to submit with my AOS form.
-
Yep.....the exact same thing they read to you when you call them.....
Not when I called because that seems to be a waste of time. Thats the exact same email they sent to me! smh
-
Not sure exactly what's taking so long. Probably people going on vacation.
The closest I've gotten so far is two emails from the embassy and the NVC respectively.
From the embassy (August 29):
From the NVC (September 4):
That emails look so familiar. Oh wait they sent me one of those too! smh!!!!
-
Hubby and I just got off the phone with NVC and I asked them wen they will start scheduling, the first week is almost gone and no interview date yet....... We told the operator that we understand they schedule every second week of each month and she said that's not true that they schedule everyday.....
So if that's the issue then why are we still waiting for a date
They should be consistent with their information arrrrgggghhhhhh
Its rare that customer service is ever consistent...lol!

My husbands job situation was the same. On the job section i listed him as a self employes laborer. And we had no issues at all!
