  1. 247 days with no NOA2. I am absolutely out of patience and full of anger at this point.

I wish I had as much faith as you. I'm doubting at this point that it will ever come.

I don't think Congress can help at all. I'm not even sure what the point of a congressional liaison is anymore. It seems like maybe back in the day they were able to do some good, but now I get the feeling they are ignored just like your average citizen waiting through USCIS. Not to mention, I can't even get mine to return my emails at this point...

Wow, you guys finally got it! Congrats! They might not have replied, but might have sent in a congressional inquiry. Mine did and I did not know she had until I messaged her again inquiring as to what was happening. Anyways, we were FINALLY allowed to put in a service request today so hopefully that will get something moving for us. I hope you guys make it to each other in time for Christmas. I know that's our wish.

  4. Hi VJ's, Am just curious. Do we really need to wait 60 days for NOA2 after RFE was sent. How credible is your timeline which only says we need to wait for only less than two months? We are so stressed waiting for almost 8 months and still no NOA2... Thanks for your reply.

Ouch! 60 days for the service request? I thought they had to answer a service requests in 30 days (or maybe less?). Now you've got me thinking if our RFE isn't answered in a month and we put one in it could be another two months before the service request is past the date. At this point, I have no faith in VSC finishing work on our petition without some serious intervention.

  5. 226 days and counting. Will the NOA2 ever arrive? It's anybody's guess!

That sounds like quite a mess! Makes me thankful that at least I got my RFE smoothly and got it sent back in an received alright. Hopefully we both won't have to wait too terribly much longer. This process is completely dreadful. Ugh.

This is just totally unreal! I saw someone had an approval with no RFE today at 245 days. I can't understand how that's even possible...

You have to wait 60 days before you can file a service request unfortunately. I'm right there with you! :(

Hi! I actually answered that on your page. I'm not sure if you saw it, but yes... we have. They are sending in their second inquiry now, but I don't think it does a lot. I've read that it helps in some of these threads and that the USCIS I pushes them to the front, but it certainly doesn't appear that way to me.

I wrote to my congressman. Apparently the congressmen have a person that specifically handles these visa matters. For us it's a woman named Susan. She's sent in two inquiries for us now, but to be honest, at present they don't seem to do be anything to speed things along. I doubt USCIS pays them much attention at all.

Same... I think you are one of two people that filed before us at VSC on visa journey that is still actually waiting. All of the others I looked at seem to have closed their accounts and therefore aren't even capable of updating their status or they haven't been on in months. :( It's disappointing, huh?

I got to agree, when you have been waiting more than the five months everyday is a little more disheartening than the last. I'd be pretty happy if I got mine over a month ago! I hope you get yours soon vlc, 11 months is just crazy.

I agree 100%! It's completely unfair for people after you (by weeks!) to be getting approved first. It really ticks me off.

Oh my gosh... I dunno if that makes me feel better or worse, hah. I'm so sorry you had to wait that long! That's just wrong.

  17. My heart is so sad, not for just myself but because I know the pain that others are feeling on here. There is so much lonliness and sadness especially from the Islamabad Embassy. I am glad that we have each other to lean on during this horrible process. It is not a crime to fall in love and then marry someone. They say that love makes the world go round. Not love makes your world end because you love someone from Pakistan.

It's not just Pakistan, believe me. We got our NOA1 on Feb 6th and we are still waiting. My fiance is from the UK. I had naively thought before that would somehow help us, but it seems we're all in the same boat no matter where you are from...
