Great news!!! Just received the approval letter today. Approval date is: 8/23/16. More approvals should be rolling in from Vermont.

What's up with the VSC? What's the hold up? I decided to "forget" about it so that time would fly. Well it flew...here we are mid summer. I thought we would have an answer by now.

Hi everyone!
Just wanted to tell you all that my date is June 14th and my 130 was approved yesterday (finally). My husband said, "really? that quick?" ....lol

What's your Noa 1 date? Mine is 6/14 and there has been no sign in sight of anything. The only thing I know is that they seem to be working on cases from the beginning of June.
We are all waiting...it's just a "vermont" thing not a security check delay or anything. If your NOA 1 is earlier than June I would start contacting local Senator of your district. They can look into it for you if it's been too long.

Congratulations!! This is great news. They have finally started working on June cases.
I didn't mean to upset anyone by my previous post. I was just being candid. I work in government and I know for a fact that even though most offices are open a lot of them have saved their personal/vacation time for the end of the year. My office and downtown government offices where I'm have some cars in the parking lots but there is notably a lot less cars than on "normal" days. Good news is that at least the few that may be working are now on to June. I can only imagine after Jan 1st when everyone comes back full force we should see even MORE June approvals

IS IT TRUE THAT THE VSC STILL PROCESSED THE MAY filer??? IM GETTING WORRIED. SO IT MEANS WE WAIT FOR TOO LONG FOR ALL THE JULY FILERS...
My date is June 14. No signs or anything at all. And so we wait some more......

Well, as government employees they probably have saved their vacation time to use during this time of year to be with their families for a few days. Though there might be some people in the office today, most of them have taken a day off. I don't expect much until after the New Year.

Hey people my pd is April 2 and m still waiting
can anybody tell if the congressman really helps in all this stuff ???????Unless you have a reason to request a formal expedite request there is very little a congressman or senator can do. I once had a senator expedite my file. I was pregnant at the time and did not want to give birth alone...in addition to being depressed. I was a mess back then.

Below is a reply I got from USCIS about a month ago...
Good morning,
The times posted to the USCIS website are official. You will need to refer to them to determine whether your case is within normal processing times. When you look at the USCIS website, you will see two dates – a “posted” date and an accurate “as of” date. New processing times are posted to the USCIS website on the 15th (approx.) of each month. However, because it takes time for us to collect and validate the data, the processing times are 45 days old (approx.) by the time they are posted. We are working to develop a system that should minimize the lag time to 7 days (approx.). We are currently in the testing phase and hope to have it operational before the end of the calendar year.

Yay! I fall under this category! I'm just happy to find others along the same timeline as me. Vermont is slower than other service centers so patience is a must. I've been coping by not thinking about it too much....until today.

Sorry for the late reply. I only received a letter. No notifications although I had selected the choice for text messages. I only got a text message days later saying that the card was ordered for production.
