  1. Did you already File for a K-1 Visa ? Yes, it will be null and void if you marry upon your actions not to adhere to the guidlines of that Visa. If you did File for a K-1 and decide to just get married instead then I do see a problem entering with a currant Petition to Marry based upon the K-1 Rules. The intent you state: Is to come for a visit, but that is not the plan. That is Fraud.. I'm sorry.. It is. You are telling us: I wanna see what I can do to bend the Rules and make this work for US. COME FOR A VISIT>>GET MARRIED AND WE BOTH LEAVE.. On a Visitor Visa. Ever heard of a Paper Trail... Well, this is one.

My advice would be... If you started the process and Filed a K-1 Cancel it. (there is a USCIS record) . Or continue with the currant Petition if Filed.. You will need to Cancel any Currant petition such as a K-1 if you plan on marridge before its approval. Remember, the INTENT of any Visa to be or not to be is up to another person/entity of the Goverment which you have no control over. Be really careful about your actions. It will kick you hard... go by the rules and it will be much easier and avoid entries, denials. You are to new to this for looking for "shortcuts".. There are No shortcuts... The USC can fly to the future Spouse and Marry and then Petition a Spousal Visa Request/Petition. There are other ways but, the Intent wasnot a Tourist/Visitor Visa when that was not the Intent. So this is the best I can say and not violate TOS.

If you want to Marry and bypass the K-1 then do it the right way. Get married a File a Spousal Petition.

    Thank you

We filed for K1-visa then he just got a good job that would be better for us in the U.K. since we started the K1 visa i didnt know if we should just go through with this, because we would be leaving after we get married just was not sure how to go about this, was not trying to avoid just wanted to know since we where not going to stay. would k1 since be relevant to us?

  2. Thank you

We had just decided that this may be the best for us. i really was not sure how to go about this, and had plan on having a wedding here before we decided to just go back and live in U.K. but really wanted my wedding to still take place here so my family can attend. I hope that they will let him in the U.S. when he tells them he coming to get married

  3. Sorry that you are having to deal with this.

I have dealt with people like this before, Understand that it is just a form

of control what the abusive person does to the so called weaker one. It sounds like he is dealing with

BIPOLAR disorder (one minute nice and the next He blows up). I know their is two sides to a story so i try not to judge.

But if he is dealing with this, he will always have this problem to over come. I know that it is not fun having to live with one that changes mood in a mintue, it sounds like you are a strong person and i know that you will handle it the best way for you and most important for those Innocent kids. Dont let anyone tear your Down to bill themselfs up.

I only hope the best for

    Take care

  4. Look up Nigeria on this page. Pick Nigeria and hit GO. http://travel.state.gov/visa/fees/fees_3272.html Scroll way down to find the paragraphs telling how and if you can get certain documents.

If you find you need need fingerprints, there is a link from this page http://london.usembassy.gov/document_checklist.html#police_certificate that is the list of police stations in the UK that can do those for the police certificate. Only certain police departments are authorized but it's a pretty long list.

Thank you for your help
