If you made above the poverty guidelines this year that is all that counts. The last three years don't count against you.

Husband will have visa in hand on November 30th!! We are looking at December 7th for him to be home!

As of today we are waiting for the consulate to let me know if they will accept my evidence of income that is above the federal poverty guidelines. I submitted a letter from my employer stating my income, my last pay stub that shows this years income which is above and we still have three months pay to go and three months of bank statements that verify the income being deposited.

This is where we are at. We are hoping that next week he will have everything completed so he can fly home. thanks so much I will begin to celebrate when he has his visa in hand!

After the interview I still feel I need to know for sure. He has to bring his physical and some other documents that have expired during a year long wait. He says he has been approved but I need to know he has his visa in hand to believe this. I think this process has made me cautious and skeptical. The interview sounds like the first one just left in the air waiting.

We had to wait 180 days for a letter that stated three reasons for further investigation and they were quite petty. I replied to their concerns in a letter, attached e-mails, skype messages and photos. I believe they have a process of declining 1st interviewees to make sure relationships are legit. I have noticed similar cases follow this. Frustrating very! Patience is a virtue definitely

Interview set for October 24th yes!!!

As of today September 18 it has been almost seven weeks since our case was reaffirmed and no interview date has been set

We have been working the process very well and are currently waiting for our evidence to be good enough for a second interview hopefully in October. Thanks for the invite.
