My husband's interview was on Sept6, 2012, and I am STILL waiting....

They say the same to everyone it seems. The CO told him that it usually takes 4-6 weeks. I have been waiting for almost 4 months now.

The waiting is horrible.

There is absolutely NO way they can help with ANYTHING? It's the most depressing situation

Hi everyone,

I filed the I 130 for my husband who is living in Egypt. He went for his interview on Sept 6, and they said everything seemed ok, but there needs to be administrative processing. They took his passport and said when it was done, they would send it.

Now I have been waiting for 3 months. The processing isnt done. I have heard that you can contact your congressman from your district to contact the embassy and move things along? Who has tried that? Did it work?

I contacted mine, and said that there is nothing to be done. Just wait.

Im going insane. Our first baby is due at the end of this month and I really wanted my husband to be here in the US with me
