  1. O my God! 3 weeks and counting! Do you have kids? How long you been together? I hope my case wont be the same because me the beneficiary was also annulled, but with 2nd husband has 1 year and 9 months old son. And me and my husband been away almost 3 years now. My interview will be on July 11. I hope yours will be resolve very soon! Goodluck!

We don't have children together...yet ( still tryinggood.gif ). We started our relationship back in 2010, so nearly 3 years now. We wish you much luck on your interview..you will do well! Just stay STRONG and answer their questions directly & with confidence, ok. Keep us updated and we will do the same with you. Take care and God Bless!

  2. Oh wow, you from Kauai too. Good luck and it will be soon. Oh yeah Sueokas get choke Filipino stuff now.

Thanks for the best wishes! Yup, I stop by Sueokas pretty often...love that little mom and pops!

  3. You are not alone, I had my interview three weeks ago as well, my Visa was approved and until now, nothing. I also called and they told me my papers are still under review. It might take awhile, but hopefully not over a month.

Hi adamjan, thanks for sharing your experience's with me..... The thing here is they tell you that you are already approve, maybe you just wait a few more days before they send you your visa, because they say that you are already approve. unlike myself, still hanging with this visa thing... Good luck to us....

  4. There's no way to predict how long it will take. It could take days or weeks or months. Good luck.

Hi Tahoma, Thank you for your reply... my question is why they are telling you 2 to 3 weeks and then USEM don't even notify you what is goin on? Because People like us are kept hanging and feels like were being tortured....

  5. Hello Everyone...hope you are all doing good! OK, so my wife completed her 2-DAY interview (aka interrogation) at the U.S. Embassy in Manila THREE WEEKS ago! The interviewer said that the Consul will make a decision in 2 to 3 weeks. They told her that if she was approved...she will receive an email stating that her visa is approved. So far, NO EMAIL.

We have noticed in Asawa World (on facebook) that there are other couples who have been waiting 43 or more days and still no answer.

ALL documents which we submitted are legal and can be authenticated with the various departments such as NSO, Supreme Court and RTC decision by the court (because my wife had annulment before).

My documents to prove my income and support capability are also in order.

My question is....does anyone have a similar situation and how much longer before we can expect a decision?

Thank you for your assistance. Take care and God Bless!

  6. Everything is OK except that we are now on our 3RD TRY to get the list/date of residences correct!!! Can someone please guide us on how exactly they want it listed.

We don't have "gaps" but I think it has to do with using all numbers instead of spelling out the month. and also the top line should say 10-2012 to PRESENT, correct?

    Thank you

  7. Thanks to all of you for posting topics and helping us feel confident that WE CAN DO THIS on our own! At this point, I have submitted my AOS documents (awaiting approval in about 20

business days). I have also paid for the DS-230 (visa application) and my wife will be submitting her documents shortly to the National Visa Center. Then it's a waiting game again...but

if all documents are in order, she will be doing her medical exam and visa interview at the US Embassy in Manila before too long!! God Bless Us All and have a safe & successful journey!!

  8. Happy New Year to all of you here at VJ!! Wishing you much happiness, success, prosperity and LOVE in 2013!

    Here's an update:

On Wednesday, I called the USCIS and I was told that today makes 4 days PAST THE NORMAL processing time!! SO....

I asked them for a SERVICE REQUEST and obtained a Referral ID number.

I was told that within 15 days, the California Service Center should be contacting me in regards to my petition. They will review my petition and advise me

of any questions or concerns that they might have (I thought they were already doing this the past 6 months...)

If I don't hear from them in 30 days, I need to call the USCIS back.

How many of you are at a similar point as we are? Do any of you have any suggestions, advice or concerns regarding this part of our petition process? Please We Need Help....

For those of you who have experienced having a SERVICE REQUEST made and receiving a Referral ID...did that expedite your petition approval?? Or prolong it?

Did anyone have their petition denied after doing a SERVICE REQUEST?

Thank you for your input and I pray that we all continue to have patience.
