All original paperwork you sent to NVS (your birth certificate, marriage certificate, etc...) will be sent to the Embassy in Brussels, and you get that back during your interview there.

For the police certificate, you MUST get that in Brussels. You get it in 5 minutes. NVC will give you the address. You can not just go to the local police station and get a police clearance. I tried that and had to do it over again, causing a month delayed. It has to come from Bru...

I arrived to the US on the 2nd of November 2012 Applied and received my Social Security Number in a week, and State I.D. I can start looking for work now (yaay). My greencard is suppose to arrive between 2-4 months per US Immigration Customs. Everything is going smoothe. Job hunting now.

Oh and the interview schedule waiting time in Brussels is usually between 2-3 wks. they give you enough time to get your paperwork and immigration medical exam (shots and x-ray)together before the interview. so where are you guys going in the states?

I'm going to Alaska. Not sure what you meant by waiting time, but it does take about a year for the processing and paperwork to get approve in the states (USCIS and NVC)before it finally get sent to Brussels. once you have your go for your interview here in Brussels, it goes very quick.

its ok lol, The interview took us 3 hours :s but it went quiet good i missed T papers so ill bring them in today and i should have my visa by next week Im planning to go on the 1st of november. From where in Belgium are u?

we are at the finish the 11th i have my interview, so what i have to do now is my medical examination on thurseday
