If i get my visa ( 1 yr and 8 months after wedding anniversary ) will i get CR-1 Visa ?

If i enter USA 5 months after getting my visa(CR-1) ! Can i change type of my Visa From CR-1 to IR-1 ?

If yes What should i do ?

Do i have to specify in border !

Mean if i get CR-1 visa ! and enter to USA 2 years after wedding anniversary can i get permanent resident without conditional (10 yrs GC).

  2. When I filed for my wife, I was a student, and as a result I did not meet the income requirement. However, I lived with my parents at the time, and so my father filed an I-864A as a household member who was related to me--and in fact I had to provide proof of this relationship via my birth certificate. I was *not* a dependent on my father's income tax return, and that had no bearing on my application. We were approved without any issues.

If you look here at the form I-864A's instructions, it says very clearly:

From my personal experience and my understanding of the form's instructions, as long as the co-sponsor lives with the sponsor (your wife) and is a blood relative, you will have no problem using form I-864A. If I am mistaken I would greatly appreciate someone's explanation of why, because this is exactly what I did to bring my wife over.

Thank you so much . yes you are right . I talked with an immigration lawyer

  3. Does your wife list her dad as a dependant on her tax returns? If so yes, he can fill the I-864A. Just living together in the same house is not enough, there needs to be a financial connection.

    No she don't.

and her dad doesnt want to be sponsor or co sponsor or joint sponsor . but he says he would sign form i864a as household member . and combine his income .

in this end how can i do !

is there any way for pass sponsor step pls ?

  4. Hello VJ.

My wife is my sponsor but her income don't meet sponsor income requirement.

she lives with her dad. her dad wants to combine his income with my wife income as household member.

But he doesn't want to deal with sponsor. mean he doesn't want to sign form i-864 but he would like to sign only form i-864a.

    is there any way ?

some body explain step by step pls . what shall i do !

  5. You will not get a visa if you/ your wife cannot fulfill the affidavit of support. You can "self sponsor", but need way more than you have. Get your wife to cast the net wider looking for a co-sponsor- ask at church or mosque, old college friends, co-workers, second cousins in different states....

Don't trust "randon guy who may have a law degree"

    thank you .

i just love my wife .

now we cant live togather in iran , cause she is an american !

and i cant move there cause of co sponsor .

thats not fair . makes me so mad . we are going to be crazy

  6. You need to have 3 times that amount. And it would need to be in a US account. Also you would need to show that you've had that amount of money for a long (1 year or more) amount of time.

    The I-864 is used.

i dont have in US account .

i was talking with who claim he can get my visa . he is not on board of california lawyers . but he claim he has lawyer degree .

means there is a way but i dont know .

and if i couldnt find co sponsor i will get deny ? or what !

  7. There are provisions for the beneficiary to qualify. Read the I-864 instructions to learn more. Also, the I-864 FAQ link in my signature below may be helpful.

i read for a few times but i didnt find how can i pass my problem .

my problem is my wife doesnt work and i dont have any co sponsor !

i have $18,912 in my saving account (IRAN BANK).

what shall i do ? have to send a proof(document of my account) instead of co sponsor or Form I-864 !!!!

im waiting for ur answer bro :)

    thank you so very much
