  1. Congrats on the medical! What a shame for the harassment. Their website clearly says "Appointment letter from the Embassy OR Instruction letter from the National Visa Center (NVC)". Don't you just love people trying to make your life more complicated than it really is.

I agree with Todd with this, that there is OR but even me the guy in the window was asking for the appointment letter AND NVC Letter. What I only got is one xerox copy of NVC letter that's why i rush out and have it photocopied. I wasn't ready coz what's on the website was OR but I was thankful that i did bring the NVC Letter. St Lukes must change it into AND not just put OR on it.

  2. Hi,

We just called NVC and they gave us the CASE NUMBER. They said that they're still processing the papers and it will be in Manila within 2-4 weeks. My question is, should we wait for it to arrive in Manila before paying the Visa Fee, Scheduling the Interview and doing my Medical?

Your help will be much appreciated.

    Thanks,

You can already schedule the interview. make sure the date that you choose for interview date is after 2-4 weeks as NVC said so that you papers will be in USEM Manila.

  3. I got my NOA1 on June 18 2012 and the online status is still in the Initial Review. I also noticed that the processing time has now gone from 5 months to 6 months. Should I expect another month to be added to my processing time or just the ones that have been received recently?

We were hoping to get the NOA2 by late November or early December.

    Thanks

From what i experienced 6mos and 4 days now but still waiting. I think it will be probable at least 7month of waiting. It's really really bad

Hi Mr. Smiley, Congratulations! I would like to ask about the medical exam of your fiancee. Our NOA1 was received by Vermont dated April 23, 2012. Our NOA2 expected date is the last week of OCT or first week of NOV. I've seen that there were like 15 vaccinations needed for us to be approved of our medical. Can you verify this please so I can start having those vaccinations if ever all of it are needed.

Vaccinations are already included in the medicAl fees.
