My husband's K1 visa was denied in March 2012. The case was returned to USCIS in June 2012. Due to short validity period, the entire case was closed administratively in December 2012. We have since married and I filed I-130 in June 2014. It has been approved and is with NVC. All of a sudden, a few days ago, I get an e-mail notice that the Dept of State returned our K1 case to USCIS for review, that they are currently reviewing it, and will contact me via mail with information regarding it. Has anyone encountered this? I tried to call USCIS to inquire but the call volume is too high to speak to someone other than those whom answer first.
