Greencard approveed NOvember 21st....I got my green card today the date on it says november 26th. GOOD luck to my mother May filers

just got a text and email from USCIS stating that there was a recent processing change to my case.i went online and it said

On November 26, 2014, we ordered your new card for Receipt Number **********, and will mail it to the address you gave us. If you do not receive your card by December 26, 2014, please go to www.uscis.gov/e-request to request your card. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.

I have so much more to be grateful for this thanksgiving. good luck to my other May Filers and HAPPY THANKSGIVING TO YOU ALL

Well I called uscis to check on my case yesterday so that was the information given to me.

Just wanted to inform you guys that they have updated the Processing times for Vermont service Center and as of today they are currently on applications filed on March 24th. So we MAY filers have pretty damn LONG wait. We may here from them early next year... DEFINITELY NOT THIS YEAR! SO RIDICULOUS THAT THEY ARE SO BACKED UP.

Is Vermont going to start processing I-751's because this is absolutely RIDICULOUS. Do they have Ebola over there? are they all on summer Vacation???

i got my biometrics appt 06/27/14

The check finally processed this morning. Well I guess they must have done it on friday because I only saw it about an hour ago which was 6:00am and I had been checking ever since the package was delivered on May 28th.Anyways I am excited because this means NOA will be here soon.

I received a notice from uscis yesterday stating that my employment authorization card was approved and will be in themail son. does anyone know how long it usually takes to get it inthe mail? kinda excited1 really wanna go get a social security card and a drivers license! and how long after do you usually get an interview for that aos?

you might also want to file the I-765 which is the work permit along witht he i-485 becaues it is free when you do it together.

It might be easier to get married and file for the I-130 which is the petition for permanent resident and file the I-485 which is the change of status at the same time.

According to my attorney this is a fast way to get eveyrthing organized and you can be here with your wife while you do this.

i had a visitors visa. but i am out of status because i overstayed. a lawyer did the filing for me.

try bank of america and bring along your passport, that may help.

I used just my passport and my husband and i were able to opena joint account ast bank of america.

i dont have a ss or a work permit as yet.

So i should expect to recieve some sort of notice in the mail in July?

i read a couples tories on here where people got their work permit 3-4 weeks after

doing fingerprinting .

I am new here so i just wanted some info.

* April 19th 2012I filed i-130, I-485,I-765 .

*April 30th I received the I-797 notices saying they recieved the documents and are processing them.

* May 2nd recieved an Appointment notice to appear for fingerprinting

* May 18th i went to do my fingerprinting.

So now i am just waiting. I wanted to know whether anybody knew what happens next? how soon should i expect to hear

from USCIS about my case? When will i get the work permit? When do my husband and I do the interview.

I will really be grateful for all info. Thanks in advance :-)
